Role Description Are you a dynamic and data-driven Performance Marketing Manager seeking your next exciting opportunity in Media Buying? Join a team of A-level players and work remotely to propel growth in the Insurance industry. At Excel, we help insurance brands acquire the right customers at scale. The Performance Marketing Manager drives our mission by crafting and executing data-driven marketing campaigns across search and non-search platforms. This role focuses on identifying new growth opportunities to enhance campaign performance and profitability. The ideal candidate will be responsible for launching and optimizing campaigns across platforms including Google, Bing, and Meta, while ensuring scalability and best practices in campaign setup and structure. Key Responsibilities - Manage and optimize paid search and PPC campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads (Bing), & Insurance Specific Media Platforms. - Monitor & Improve KPIs like: ROAS, CPA, Impression Share, CTR, Spend - Conduct deep data analysis to guide bidding, segmentation, and creative testing - A/B test ad copy, audience strategies, and keyword sets to uncover performance drivers - Research new keyword opportunities and emerging SEM trends - Document learnings and present structured reporting to leadership - Collaborate cross-functionally with media buyers, design, and analytics teams to execute high-ROI initiatives Qualifications - 2–4 years of hands-on PPC experience in performance marketing - Proven success managing campaigns with $50K+ monthly spend - Proficient with Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and campaign management platforms - Strong analytical skills in Excel / Google Sheets (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) - Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving, remote environment - Experience in insurance and/or lead generation is a bonus - A process-driven, analytical marketer who thrives on deep work and measurable results - Precise, organized, and obsessive about improving key performance metrics - Constantly testing, optimizing, and refining every campaign detail - A no-nonsense communicator who values clarity over fluff - Highly independent, proactive, and quietly competitive - Naturally curious — always researching, learning, and uncovering insights others miss Reporting Relationships - Reports to: Director of Media Buying - Direct reports: None Compensation Mix - Fixed base salary - Variable performance bonus - Long term value through Incentive Units - $1,000 Learning Allowance - Company-sponsored benefits Benefits - Health insurance - Dental insurance - Vision insurance - Life insurance - Short term disability insurance - Long term disability insurance - 401(k) plan - Flexible schedule - Paid time off - Parental leave Perks - Holidays, vacation, and personal paid time-off - Work-life flexible while committed to growth - The entire company is remote/work from home - Company provided computer hardware/software - Unlimited growth and development opportunities Next Steps If you are interested in this opportunity, want to grow with a company that is invested in you and the future, apply now to be considered for this position!
