Position Summary: - Design, develop, and deploy scalable, secure enterprise integration solutions that align with business requirements and performance standards. - Partner with stakeholders, QA, and DevOps to gather requirements and define technical specifications for seamless delivery. - Lead architectural design sessions and provide mentorship to junior developers through code reviews and best-practice sharing. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues using root cause analysis to ensure minimal downtime and system reliability. - Maintain a reliable delivery pipeline by utilizing CI/CD, version control, automated testing, and clean, maintainable code. - Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA and healthcare data privacy regulations through secure coding practices and regular security audits. DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) preferred - 7+ years of hands-on experience in SDLC; radiology experience strongly preferred - Strong understanding of healthcare standards like HL7 v2, FHIR, and any integration engines – Corepoint, Rhapsody etc. - Strong proficiency - Java, Python, .NET, Node.js, etc. - Experience in designing and building integration with RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms - Design and implement FHIR-based APIs and services (R4/R5), including resource modeling and validation. - Integrate with EHRs and HIEs using SMART on FHIR/OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect. Develop mapping/transforms between HL7 v2/C-CDA and FHIR where needed. - Experience in AWS cloud technologies is highly preferred.
