Senior Platform Engineer Department: Engineering Employment Type: Full Time Location: Remote (USA) Compensation: $150,000 - $175,000 / year Description Reporting to the Team Lead, you will be responsible for working on a team of four to five Engineers to tackle the platform needs for organizations in the highly regulated industry. Key Responsibilities - Design and implement continuous integration and continuous deployment frameworks from code to deploy - Design and implement automated provisioning and configuration frameworks in support of infrastructure-as-code - Design, implement, configure and manage system monitoring solutions that alert teams to problems before customers are impacted - Work closely with customers and other team members to understand complex requirements and translate them into automated solutions - Provide support to ensure mission critical applications and components are being monitored and meet security, reporting and retention requirements as well as disaster recovery requirements of clients - Support team members Skills Knowledge & Expertise Required Qualifications: - 5+ years of DevOps/Cloud experience - 5+ years of Azure experience - 5+ years of Java application experience (WebLogic, Tomcat) - 2+ years of IaC experience (Terraform) - Experience with Java runtime upgrades & middleware modernization - CI/CD pipeline implementation experience - Enterprise production environment experience - Experience in financial services or regulated industries - Strong communication & consulting mindset Preferred Qualifications: - AWS experience - Kubernetes experience - Azure Professional level certifications - Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD, CKS) - Experience with AI-enabled automation / agent-based tooling Benefits & Perks - Benefits of full-time remote work but with a close team environment.
