Third Eye Software
We’re looking for a strong Go / GCP Engineer to help build backend applications in a Google Cloud Platform environment. This role requires hands-on experience developing in Golang along with deep, practical knowledge of GCP services and how applications interact with them. This is a remote, W-2 long-term contract engagement with a Fortune 50 enterprise org. There is potential for long-term growth and additional opportunities, based on performance and business needs.
Job Requirements
- 4+ years of backend software engineering experience
- 2+ years of professional Golang development experience
- Strong hands-on experience working within Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments
- Experience building backend services or APIs in Go
- Experience integrating applications with GCP services (e.g., Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, BigQuery)
- Experience building or automating workflows using Google Workflows
- Familiarity with YAML-based workflow definitions
- Experience orchestrating microservices or serverless functions
- Experience supporting or automating CI/CD pipelines
- Solid understanding of API design and backend service architecture
- Strong communicator who works effectively on distributed engineering teams

- This is a W-2 only, fully remote contract opportunity (no C2C).

- Standard Eastern Time business hours (full-time) and you must be exclusively dedicated to this role (no concurrent job engagements).
