Summary: As a YA Regional Consultant, you will provide high quality consulting services relating to property restoration, property defects, casualty, and losses of significance for YA’s customers, which include insurance companies, third-party adjusters and independent businesses and insureds. YA Regional Consultants are responsible for the management of each of our clients’ business and operations in defining and controlling costs associated with damaged structures. Regional Consultants are expected to use a large measure of independent judgement, considering, and weighing alternatives when appropriate, considering the financial and operational significance of the services being performed. Role & Responsibilities: - Conducts inspections and field assessments to evaluate structure and property damage for clients. - Reviews and synthesizes relevant information to prepare damage estimates, scopes and project reports. - Manages field work on large, multi-consultants’ projects. - Performs analysis of invoices, budgets, schedules, and reports on behalf of the clients. - Operates on behalf of clients to monitor and manage timelines, expenses, and other factors critical to operational efficiency and cost management during all phases of construction. - Communicates and corresponds regularly with clients, insurance companies, adjusters, and insureds. - Leads regular client meetings and supports business development initiatives. - Provides technical oversight and support and management to more junior consultants. - Maintains job files, documentation, and other relevant deliverables. - Manages and oversees clients’ interactions, supporting and mentoring junior consultants. - Provides quality control reviews of junior consultant work product prior to submission to the client.
