Content Strategist

Verndale

• Editorial content strategy (All discovery phase CS, including content inventories and content assessments, holistic transformation content strategy, and content planning) • UX content strategy (All design phase CS, including content audits, gap analyses, taxonomies, copy and content planning for both design and migration) • Delivery content strategy (All build phase CS, including content matrices, workflows and governance, guidelines, migration support) • Building the department and content strategy practice at Verndale through the delivery of exceptional work • Educating both internal and external teams on the benefits of content strategy and how it can enhance the user experience • Scoping and estimating of projects • Presenting polished, client-ready deliverables, ideas, project updates, etc. • Leading through inspiration, example, advocacy, and mentoring

Job Requirements

  • 3 - 5 years experience creating overall guiding strategy for large-scale content experiences
  • Considerable knowledge and expertise of a wide variety of platforms and content management systems (like Sitecore, Opti, etc.)
  • Knowledge of the end-to-end digital transformation process, including the steps of a redesign, migration, and all related content strategy activities

The Development Content Manager reports to the Director of Philanthropy and works in partnership with the Project’s Development Team, Communications Manager, Executive Director, staff, and Board of Directors. The position will be based in the Tucson or Phoenix office, with travel to other Project offices.
