Role Description Homecare Homebase is searching for a Home Health and Hospice Medical Biller who will be responsible for complete and accurate billing and collections of all claims submitted for payment to non-Medicare insurance health care programs. As a Billing and Follow-up Specialist, you'll be an important staff member in a newly formed department to bill and collect from insurance companies. You will work in a team to ensure we follow best practices for billing and follow-up tasks to maximize insurance reimbursement. What are we looking for? We are looking for this candidate to possess experience in the healthcare sector, specifically within a back end revenue cycle function at a provider. They should have a solid understanding of the claim submission and follow-up process, with general exposure to denials and cash posting tasks.
