ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY Artera is seeking a Technical Project Lead (TPL) to play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless integration of our innovative healthcare communication solutions with client systems. This role combines technical expertise with customer-facing responsibilities, acting as the cornerstone for successful implementations. TPLs work closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders to design, build, test, and deploy solutions that meet client needs and exceed expectations. As a TPL, you'll lead technical implementations, providing best practice recommendations and troubleshooting issues during testing and deployment. You’ll collaborate with Integration Engineers to ensure solutions meet customer needs while advocating for process improvements based on real-world insights. Responsibilities - Stakeholder Management & Communication: Lead customer-facing work, managing internal and external calls to ensure alignment and clear communication. - Technical Problem Solving: Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective resolutions during the implementation process. - End-to-End Project Execution: Manage end-to-end technical implementations, ensuring seamless integration and deployment. - Strategic Client Consulting: Consult with clients throughout the implementation process, translating technical concepts into actionable solutions. Requirements - Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years in a customer-facing technical role. - Interoperability Standards: 1+ years of experience with HL7v2, FHIR, and other common standards of healthcare system data exchange solutions. - Interface Engine Proficiency: Hands-on experience with systems like Mirth or Rhapsody. - API Knowledge: Familiarity with APIs (preferred but not required). - Core Competencies: Exceptional troubleshooting and analytical skills. Bonus - Experience with EHR systems Familiarity with interoperability tools like IRIS. - Background in healthcare IT integrations or system migrations. OUR APPROACH TO WORK LOCATION Artera has hybrid office locations in Santa Barbara, CA, and Philadelphia (Wayne), PA, where team members typically come in three days a week. Specific frequency can vary depending on your team's needs, manager expectations and/or role responsibilities. In addition to our U.S. office locations, we are intentionally building geographically concentrated teams in several key metropolitan areas, which we call our “Hiring Hubs.” We are currently hiring remote candidates located within the following hiring hubs: - Boston Metro Area, MA - Chicago Metro Area, IL - Denver Metro Area, CO - Kansas City Metro Area (KS/MO) - Los Angeles Metro Area, CA - San Francisco / Bay Area, CA - Seattle Metro Area, WA This hub-based model helps us cultivate strong local connections and team cohesion, even in a distributed environment. To be eligible for employment at Artera, candidates must reside in one of our hybrid office cities or one of the designated hiring hubs.
