What You’ll Do As an Acute Care Pediatrician with Imagine Pediatrics, you will provide full-time virtual acute care services to Imagine Pediatrics patients and their caregivers as part of our innovative care model. You will help us in meeting patients where they are by providing care virtually, responding to inbound acute and perceived acute care needs, and triaging decisions to dispatch our mobile field team of allied health personnel to initiate blended virtual and in-home urgent care visits. You will: - Expect collaboration, shared decision making, and partnership across clinical and non-clinical care team members. Imagine Pediatrics is a team sport. - Foster trusting relationships with individuals, their families and caregivers, and communities, providing integrated primary, behavioral, and urgent care for kids. - Go above and beyond to connect with people in a non-judgmental, respectful and empathic manner, to meet their needs, and to provide feedback to the system as a whole as we strive to do better every day. - Collaborate with Mobile Integrated Care allied health personnel during home visits. You will virtually meet with patients, obtain an appropriate history, assist allied health personnel in a focused physical exam, order appropriate testing and treatment, and provide appropriate follow up with requesting and primary providers. - Oversee, and work closely with a team of Advanced Practice Providers, who will be the front line of our virtual urgent care program. - Serve as a virtual acute care “attending”, providing clinical guidance and support. - Participate in on-call coverage to support the 24/7 nature of the virtual acute care program. In this role, you will need: - You are a licensed physician (MD/DO). - Board Certified in Pediatric Emergency Medicine or Board-Certified General Pediatrician with extensive experience in Pediatric Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care. - It is required that you have a license to practice in at least one of the following states: (TX, FL, NC, NY, MO, GA, or DC ) and are willing to obtain licenses in all other existing and future Imagine Pediatrics markets; Imagine Pediatrics will help in this ongoing process. Candidates that do not have licensure in these states will still be considered. - You have at least 5 years of experience as a pediatric physician in a high-volume emergency department, inpatient, or urgent care setting. - Experience managing medically complex pediatric patients required. - Telehealth experience a plus. - Active DEA Controlled Substance Registration or eligible for application. - Maintenance of professional credentialing and CME standards - You are passionate about the growing role innovative technology can play in improving access to care and care delivery. - You are passionate about tackling the issue of healthcare inequity. - You have a stable and reliable internet connection, along with a private place to work. Role Description The Nurse Practitioner provides clinical Psychotherapy and Psychopharmacology services to patients through a primarily tele-health environment. Supported by collaborating Psychiatrists, Therapists, and Operational teams who assist you with clinical excellence and administrative tasks. - Provide excellent quality clinical care on a consistent basis that exemplifies Rivia Mind’s culture, values, and guiding principles. - Service and maintain a weekly average standard of 50 patient sessions (25 or 45-minute sessions). - Maintain a consistent weekly patient care schedule in alignment with Rivia Mind’s standard productivity expectations. - Follow Care Model practices that emphasize continuity of care, high-frequency follow-up appointments, and effective calendar management. - Conduct comprehensive intake evaluations and develop curated patient-centered treatment plans. - Provide appropriate Psychotherapy practices that leverage various modalities (CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, etc.) with proper Psychopharmacology prescribing practices. - Appropriately prescribe medication prescriptions & refills, considering the best judgment of the patient's well-being. - Provide clinical support & counseling to diverse patient populations in a telehealth environment. - Coach patients on how to manage ongoing health conditions and provide therapy to help patients make positive behavior changes. - Counsel and provide crisis intervention for patients, including assessment and treatment of emotional and behavioral problems. - Comply with clinical standards and adhere to timely and thorough session note documentation. - Promote a friendly work culture that encourages a fun, collaborative, and co-learning environment that benefits individuals' well-being, self-improvement, and potential. - Perform other related role and team function duties as assigned by department and group leaders. Qualifications - Required Education Level: Master's Degree or higher. - Education Details: Master's in Nursing. - Must have Connecticut (CT) State Licensure for the following: - Valid Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) / Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN). - Valid Registered Nurse (RN) License. - Active DEA License in good standing. - PMHNP-BC: Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - Board Certified. - At least one (1) year of post-licensure experience with solid competence in practicing Psychotherapy (CBT, MI, DBT, etc.). - Experience working with Patients in an Outpatient setting. - Telehealth/telemedicine experience. - Proficient with utilizing diverse technology platforms and systems (Google Suite, company-wide platforms/software and EHR platforms when applicable). - Intermediate computer skills and technical aptitude required.
