Overview: This is a paid, part-time, fully remote internship for current law students entering their 2L or 3L year, with a flexible start date in mid-May or later. The Global Privacy Office is seeking a motivated intern to support key privacy and legal compliance operations across the organization. In this role, you will help manage global privacy rights workflows, maintain compliance documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the privacy program. This internship provides hands-on experience working with global privacy frameworks such as GDPR, CCPA, and the EU AI Act, while supporting a high performing, cross functional team. What you will do: - Support global privacy rights intake, triage, and fulfillment, including documentation of request handling. - Maintain and update privacy records, templates, and internal documentation repositories. - Assist with mapping data flows, systems, and processing activities for regulatory compliance. - Help prepare materials for audits, DPIAs, PIAs, and other risk assessments. - Conduct research and track emerging privacy regulations and enforcement trends. - Collaborate with teams across Legal, InfoSec, HR, Engineering, and Product as needed. - Participate in ongoing privacy program initiatives, including process improvements, compliance projects, and automation. - Support with customer, supplier, investor and other due diligence requests - Assist with third-party risk management - Draft summaries, memos, and operational guidance in clear and practical language. - Other duties as may be assigned from time to time. What we are looking for: - Strong interest in privacy, data protection, technology, or compliance. - Excellent writing and documentation skills with high attention to detail. - Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and follow structured processes. - Familiarity with GDPR, CCPA, or other privacy regulations (coursework or project experience is welcome). - Ability to work collaboratively with global teams. - Analytical mindset and willingness to learn complex operational workflows.
