Role Description Tharseo IT is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer (Cloud Consultant Level 2) to support cloud automation, infrastructure deployment, and DevOps initiatives across enterprise cloud environments. This role focuses on enabling efficient, secure, and repeatable cloud deployments through automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code practices. The engineer will collaborate with cloud and platform engineering teams to support cloud infrastructure provisioning, deployment workflows, and operational reliability. The ideal candidate will bring experience in DevOps engineering, cloud automation, and deployment pipelines while supporting secure cloud environments aligned with enterprise cybersecurity standards. Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is strongly preferred, though experience with other major cloud platforms will also be considered. This position is primarily remote, with occasional travel and potential Boston-area onsite support at Hanscom AFB for secure network access. Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience) - Minimum 8 years of experience in IT engineering, DevOps engineering, or cloud infrastructure roles - Experience building or supporting CI/CD pipelines and version control systems - Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar - Experience with cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure, or similar) - DoD IAT Level II certification - Active Secret Clearance - Ability to access secure environments requiring CAC Requirements - Develop and support CI/CD pipelines for cloud infrastructure and application deployments - Implement infrastructure automation and configuration management solutions - Support automated provisioning and deployment of cloud infrastructure resources - Collaborate with engineering teams to enable cloud-based development workflows - Apply DevOps best practices to improve deployment efficiency and system reliability - Support integration of cloud architecture components into enterprise environments - Troubleshoot deployment pipeline and infrastructure automation issues - Maintain operational documentation and deployment procedures - Ensure cloud automation practices align with enterprise cybersecurity standards and policies Benefits - Opportunity to work on advanced cloud platforms and automation technologies - Engagement with modern DevOps practices within a rapidly evolving cloud ecosystem

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in IT engineering, DevOps engineering, or cloud infrastructure roles
  • Experience building or supporting CI/CD pipelines and version control systems
