Role Description Tharseo IT is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer - Level 3 to support the implementation, integration, and operational reliability of enterprise cloud infrastructure environments. This role focuses on maintaining stable, scalable cloud-based systems and distributed infrastructure while supporting system performance, reliability, and operational health. The engineer will help drive improvements across cloud platforms by implementing proactive engineering practices, monitoring system performance, and supporting enterprise cloud architecture initiatives. - Maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure environments supporting enterprise systems - Support system reliability, scalability, and operational performance across cloud platforms - Perform system integration, verification, validation, and operational support activities - Implement infrastructure updates, improvements, and configuration changes - Monitor distributed cloud systems and support system health analysis and logging - Troubleshoot infrastructure, configuration, and performance issues across cloud environments - Perform engineering analyses including requirements allocation, interface definition, and trade studies - Use operational metrics and trends to identify opportunities for platform improvements - Support cloud architecture teams in maintaining secure and scalable enterprise cloud environments Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience) - Minimum 4–8 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, systems engineering, or cloud operations - Strong Linux systems administration experience - Experience supporting cloud infrastructure platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure, or similar) - DoD IAT Level II certification - Active Secret Clearance - Ability to access secure environments requiring CAC Preferred Qualifications - Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) - Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure or cloud platforms at scale - Familiarity with federal cybersecurity standards and compliance frameworks - Experience supporting distributed systems or virtualized cloud environments - Cloud certifications (OCI, AWS, Azure, etc.) Benefits At Tharseo IT, our engineers support secure, enterprise cloud environments that enable mission-critical operations.
