Position Overview Under general direction or assignment assists in planning, development, implementation, evaluation and maintenance of business solutions. Analyzes assigned tasks and develops solutions to meet the needs through use of business Intelligence tools, databases, dashboards, systems or methods, and procedures. Competent to work on all phases of development independently. Works cooperatively to determine problems that need solving, identifying needs and develops or recommends potential solutions. Capable of providing leadership and technical direction on large multi-entity corporate level projects. Work Locations: Vestal 3 Administrative Building, Vestal, NY Remote, Johnson City, NY 13790 There is more than one location associated with this position. This is either because there are multiple openings at different sites, or the successful candidate will be required to float across multiple UHS facilities. Primary Work Shift: Day Regular Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Compensation Range: $40.70 - $61.05 per hour, depending on experience ----- Education/Experience Minimum Required: - Master’s Degree – OR - bachelor’s degree with three (3) years relevant experience to include: Business Intelligence, or Systems Analyst experience, database code and management experience – WITH - Degree Concentration in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Industrial and Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, Business Intelligence or healthcare related field. - One (1) year of Project Management Experience. - Excellence in using query languages such as SQL. - Good scripting and programming skills. - Proficiency in data visualization tools. - Excellent understanding of RDMS. Preferred - Three (3) years of Reports, Metrics and Dashboard creation. - Clinical or Financial Systems Organizational Experience. - Two (2) years Epic Experience. - Experience in SSIS Integration Services. - Experience in SSRS Reporting Services. License/Certification Minimum Required: - Must be willing to travel for training and achieve certification within ninety (90) days of completion of training at Epic in application as assigned.
