Role Description We are currently hiring for a Staff Ride Coordinator for the 2026 Thailand Staff Ride, set to take place November 9-13. This is one of the most rewarding career experiences at Backroads – we promise! We are looking for someone who is excited to plan the most unique and fun company event in the universe. The Staff Ride Team Lead will work closely with the Staff Ride Specialist, Jason Stawiski, to plan and execute everything Staff Ride. This includes: - Working with local vendors - Finding restaurants and venues - Route planning - Overall itinerary creation As Staff Ride Coordinator, you will also lead Staff Ride. Qualifications - Familiar with Northern Thailand – knows the culture, the towns, and the magic that makes Northern Thailand special - Experience or willingness to learn about hosting big events and ensuring they run smoothly - Exemplifies teamwork – will work closely with the Staff Ride Coordinator and vendors throughout the year, and with local staff and fellow Staff Ride leaders during the event - Shows great leadership skills under pressure - Proficient in Ascent (preferably with TE skills) - Has attended a previous Staff Ride Requirements - The SR Coordinator will need to enter all trip details into the Ascent database for access by the Supplier Ops and Rooming teams - Work in tandem to finalize contracts with all vendors well in advance of the trip - Ensure smooth logistics and timely payments from the Finance team - Approximately 100-150 hours of work prior to Staff Ride - Availability to put in time throughout the summer, with increased workload in the month leading to Staff Ride Benefits - This position is open to all nationalities Company Description Please Note: This position is only for the Staff Ride Coordinator. Job Requirements
