Director, Partnerships
Merkle Science
• Develop and execute the US partnerships strategy aligned with company objectives • Identify new partnership opportunities (strategic, channel, technology, and commercial) • Own the US partner roadmap, prioritization, and performance metrics • Act as the internal champion for partnerships across the organization • Source, evaluate, and onboard new partners • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key partners • Structure, negotiate, and close partnership agreements • Manage partner lifecycle from launch through optimization and renewal • Drive revenue through partner-led and partner-influenced opportunities • Collaborate with Sales to enable partners and accelerate deal cycles • Track, forecast, and report on partnership performance and ROI • Continuously optimize partnerships to maximize growth and impact • Work closely with Marketing on joint campaigns, co-branding, and GTM initiatives • Partner with Product to influence roadmap and integrations based on partner insights • Collaborate with Legal and Finance on contracts, compliance, and deal structures
Job Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or strategic alliances
- Proven track record of building and scaling partnerships in the US market
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills with experience closing complex deals
- Experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and executive presence
- Prior experience selling into Global 2000, large banks, or crypto market would be preferred
- Prior experience growing and managing global sales teams
- Proactive, a hustler, and possess a player-coach mentality

• Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with key decision-makers and customers within assigned aerospace and defense accounts at both the engineering and leadership levels • Understand customers needs, challenges, and goals to provide tailored solutions and ensure customer success • Develop and implement account plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets • Proactively address any issues or concerns to ensure customer retention and dedication • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to develop and implement strategic account plans • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts, reports, and updates to senior management • Use CRM systems to maintain detailed account records and supervise sales activities
