Position Summary: We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our team working on our cloud-native product suite. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, be aware of cloud-native technologies, and have have a willingness to learn new technologies. Roles and Responsibilities: - Contribute to the development of cloud native products and services for our Kubernetes product ecosystem.. - Learn and collaborate with the team to design and implement the product roadmap. - Support Cloud infrastructure deployments using Platform9 products, including troubleshooting and problem resolution. Preferred Qualifications and Skills: - Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field. - Excellent programming skills in a major programming language. Python or Golang is preferred. - 2-3 years of experience in a software development role. - Familiarity with containerization technologies like Kubernetes is a plus. - Prior experience with OpenStack/DevStack is also a plus. - Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals with willingness to learn and build products in the cloud computing and virtualisation space. - Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Being a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work in a highly dynamic environment.
