Analytics Engineer II
Alma
• Build models and queries to transform data into standardized formats that power our business analytics. • Maintain and develop Alma’s data pipeline architecture. • Proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve data quality, reliability, and performance issues across the data lifecycle. • Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and implement robust processes for ingesting data from diverse internal and external sources. • Implement data governance best practices and ensure compliance with data policies. • Work with the data team and cross-team stakeholders to evaluate the priorities and needs of the company.
Job Requirements
- You have 3+ years of progressive experience in data engineering or analytics engineering, with a strong emphasis on building and optimizing data pipelines and data warehouses.
- You possess advanced SQL skills, with proven experience in writing complex, performant queries and optimizing them in a data warehouse environment like Redshift.
- You have a strong understanding of data warehousing and business intelligence tools.
- Experience with dbt is highly desirable; familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Metabase) is a plus.
- You enjoy exploring data sets and have technical expertise in data transformation and data modeling.
- You have some experience with Python.
- You feel a passion for Alma's mission – to improve the experience of therapy for providers and their clients and simplify access to care.
