You have come to the right place. - SUMMARY The Cabinet Designer/ Estimator is responsible for production of layouts, pdf drawings, material lists and other documents and files needed to support the company’s cabinet sales. Generates proposals, material lists, installation documents and provides technical and supervisory support for the designer/ estimators. POSITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES - Reviews, interprets and analyzes RFP/RFQ specifications and architectural drawings to determine scope of work and customer product requirements. - Operates 20/20 Design software to create documents and drawings per ILG Design Standards. - Assembles cost estimates, proposals, requests for information (RFIs), change orders and other documentation required for complete and accurate bids. - Assists with order management and coordination and supervises designer/ estimators in multiple markets. - Works with all areas of the cabinet sales, order management, customer care and installation operations to ensure customer satisfaction. - Develops and Maintains Builder Account’s Master Books, Bid Tracker and other systems maintenance such as SAP, Monday, etc. - Excellent digital, oral and written communications skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of internal and external customers. - Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, dimensions, details and specifications. - A thorough understanding of kitchen and bath design, as well as various cabinet company product lines. - Strong computer skills, including MS Word and MS Excel, along with the ability to quickly learn how to use new software and vendor’s portals and EDI systems. - Excellent analytical and mathematical skills. - Ability to think critically and solve problems with missing information. - Able to work quickly and accurately with great attention to detail. - EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE - Technical degree in drafting or related field preferred. - 5 years of cabinet design experience in the production homebuilding and commercial industry. - Mastery level proficiency using 20/20 Design software. - SAP experience a plus. - Pay range: $28-$31/hour plus benefits If you like working with a growing close knit team and helping home owners design the home of their dreams, come build your career with us!
