Description The Senior Salesforce Business Analyst is a critical contributor to the successful delivery of Salesforce initiatives within complex, enterprise-level environments, with a focus on Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS). This role requires exceptional skills in communication, requirements analysis, and stakeholder collaboration to uncover business challenges, assess operations, and design innovative, scalable solutions. Acting as the bridge between business and technical teams, you will translate organizational needs into actionable system capabilities, ensuring alignment with best practices in Salesforce Public Sector Solutions while driving process improvements, compliance, and user adoption. As a Senior BA, you will lead requirements workshops, create detailed documentation, and collaborate with architects, developers, testers, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions. You will take ownership of implementation activities, from demos and user acceptance testing (UAT) to training and change management, ensuring stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle. This position demands a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in dynamic environments, consistently driving excellence and measurable results across Salesforce projects. This position is 100% remote. Responsibilities: - Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, operations, and the technical team throughout the project cycle. - Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs, translate them into detailed, actionable requirements, and document these as high-quality User Stories, Use Cases, or Business Requirements. - Evaluate existing workflows as-is, identify inefficiencies, and recommend optimizations to enhance business performance. - Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily Scrums, Sprint planning, Sprint reviews, and retrospectives. - Work closely with the Scrum Team to groom user stories, support sprint execution, identify and resolve team impediments, and ensure the quality of deliverables. - Create Test Plans and Test Cases, conduct solution testing, and facilitate UAT sessions with stakeholders, incorporating feedback through enhancements and bug fixes. - Develop training guides and lead training sessions for end-users to ensure successful adoption of Salesforce solutions. - Take ownership of new Salesforce product implementations, becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to configure, demo, and train users effectively. - Collaborate with project managers to maintain clear and consistent communication with clients and stakeholders, aligning expectations and ensuring successful project outcomes. Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or comparable discipline. - Minimum work experience: 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with end-to-end Salesforce implementation experience. - Minimum 5+ years working within all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle and an Agile driven development environment. - Minimum 5+ years’ experience with the Salesforce platform configuring sales, service, community clouds, and/or custom Salesforce apps. - Minimum 5+ years of experience in business analysis or product development of software-based solutions - Salesforce public-sector domain expertise is highly preferred. - Experience conducting simple to complex Project Demos and Sprint Demos. - Experience working in JIRA, Confluence, or other Agile project management tools. - Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Lucid chart, SharePoint. - Excellent interpersonal, listening, oral, and written communication skills. - Strong analytical skills with accuracy and attention to detail. - Ability to manage multiple tasks in a team-based environment. - Experience working with sandbox and production environments. - Demonstrated adherence to Salesforce.com best practices. Preferred Skills and/or Experience: - Salesforce Administration Certificate is required - Salesforce Business Analyst Certification is desirable - Salesforce Public Sector Consultant certification is highly desirable. - Strong domain knowledge in Human Resource Automation, Talent Acquisition, Recruiting, and Talent Management are highly desirable.
