Product Marketing Manager – Government

Kpler

• Source proposals from a variety of U.S. federal government agencies as well as governments from around the world • Build responses to proposals and compelling response templates that convey Kpler’s value and product specifications to drive sales opportunities. • Develop and implement comprehensive product marketing strategies for government audiences that drive adoption and retention of Kpler products for government clients. • Craft compelling messaging and positioning that differentiates our products in the market. • Collaborate with product management to gain deep product expertise. • Develop & organize sales enablement materials deliverables with design colleagues. • Develop training to ensure our sales team is equipped to sell effectively. • Conduct competitive analysis to inform strategic marketing decisions and product positioning. • Plan and execute product launches, working cross-functionally to ensure a cohesive and effective market entry and growth. • Measure and report on the effectiveness of product marketing initiatives and adjust strategies as needed. • Work with the wider marketing, product, and design teams to develop content such as case studies, videos, website copy, and blog posts. • Engage with customers to gather testimonials and case examples to showcase the value of our products. • Manage cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders to deliver on go-to-market objectives and help build the lifetime value of our products.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Fluency in English.
  • 3+ years of government sales or marketing business experience.
  • 3+ years of product or product marketing experience, preferably in a technology-focused company.
  • Experience with U.S. federal government RFPs and fluent in navigating the bureaucracy of proposals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas simply
  • Familiarity with Hubspot and/or Salesforce
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.

About the Role: We're looking for a Product Marketing Manager who can translate government technology into clear, compelling outcome-driven stories that connect with municipal decision-makers. This role blends traditional product marketing with demand generation, so you'll be responsible for both positioning our solutions in the market and driving qualified leads into the sales pipeline. You'll work closely with an Associate Product Marketing Manager along with the sales, product, and customer success teams to understand what makes local government buyers tick and turn those insights into messaging, content, and campaigns that build pipeline.
