• Deploy, configure, and manage **Azure Virtual Desktop** environments, including host pools, session hosts, and application groups. • Maintain and update golden images for AVD deployments following established processes. • Monitor the performance, availability, and usage of AVD resources and take proactive measures to optimize performance and cost. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AVD including connectivity, performance, and application deployment. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance IT infrastructure for ongoing improvements in the AVD space. • Develop documentation and guidelines for AVD administration processes and best practices. • Implement security measures and ensure compliance with organizational policies within the AVD environment. • This position will provide opportunities for professional growth and expansion of responsibilities as we enhance our AVD capabilities and scale our services.

• Build and maintain automation workflows using **n8n, **Make.com****, or similar tools • Create and manage subaccounts, automation logic, triggers, and conditions • Troubleshoot broken workflows and resolve issues efficiently • Ensure automations are stable, scalable, and well-documented • Connect SaaS tools, databases, CRMs, and internal systems via APIs and webhooks • Read API documentation and design clean data flows between platforms • Monitor data accuracy, sync reliability, and error handling • Improve existing integrations to reduce manual work and edge-case failures • Take ownership of incoming automation and system-related tickets • Diagnose issues quickly and implement long-term fixes • Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders about root causes and resolutions • Build new automation concepts as use cases surface • Test improvements, iterate on workflow logic, and optimize performance • Help evolve internal standards, templates, and reusable automation patterns • Contribute ideas for improving how automation supports the product and users

The Engineer is responsible for understanding the current market design, evaluating and recommending design modifications, and analyzing the impacts of proposed changes. This role supports the development of market design expertise across the organization and plays a key role in facilitating market design changes through the SPP stakeholder process. The Engineer supports the Market Working Group by performing market analysis, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring that implemented software and processes align with approved market design principles. Key Responsibilities - Lead market design analysis, evaluation, and implementation of design changes. - Analyze market data and develop simulations, metrics, and reports to identify market issues and opportunities. - Facilitate market design changes through the SPP stakeholder process and Market Working Group. - Coordinate across internal teams (Operations, Legal, Regulatory, Settlements, Training, IT) to ensure alignment with market design. - Engage with market participants, vendors, FERC, and other RTOs/ISOs on market design and policy matters. - Provide technical leadership, engineering judgment, and subject matter expertise on market design initiatives. - Research and benchmark market designs used by other RTOs/ISOs. - Present market design proposals and analysis to committees, working groups, and senior leadership. - Support FERC filings, market education, and training of junior staff and stakeholders. - Ensure compliance with SPP policies, maintain accountability, and meet project deadlines. Qualifications - Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited university. - Degree should be in a calculus-based engineering field; preferred fields include: - Electrical Engineering - Computer Engineering - Industrial Engineering - Mechanical Engineering - Systems Engineering Requirements - Sr Engineer: Five (5) years of relevant Engineering experience; Professional Engineer License may satisfy one year of experience requirement. - Sr Engineer II: Nine (9) years of relevant Engineering experience; Professional Engineer License or Advanced degree in related field may satisfy one (1) year of experience requirement. - Lead Engineer: - 12 years of relevant Engineering experience; OR - 11 years of relevant Engineering experience with a Master’s Degree in Electrical, Computer, Industrial, Mechanical or Systems Engineering; OR - 10 years of relevant Engineering experience with a Doctoral degree in Electrical, Computer, Industrial, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering. - A Professional Engineer license is required for this role; however, 12 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a Professional Engineer License. - Highly proficient at organizing and conducting technical and analytical studies. - High level of understanding of electric market concepts and ability to apply understanding. - Ability to support cross-team and multi-team initiatives and projects. - Strong facilitation, presentation, and public speaking skills. - Strong interpersonal and team-building skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Competence with communication and data handling software such as Microsoft Office. - Demonstrate proficiency in business acumen and professional conduct. - Ability to function with constantly changing and multiple priorities. - Strong organizational skills. - Ability to recognize and address strategic issues important to Market Design. - Skilled at analyzing complex issues and communicating results to diverse stakeholders.
