Position Overview AssistRx is seeking a Reporting Business Analyst to support the development of operational and client-facing reporting across our patient support and therapy access platforms. This role serves as the bridge between business stakeholders and development teams, translating reporting and analytics needs into clear technical requirements. The analyst will gather reporting requirements, document detailed user stories, create JIRA tickets, and work closely with developers to ensure reports are built accurately. The ideal candidate understands Salesforce data structures, is comfortable working with reporting and operational data, and has experience supporting patient access programs, pharmaceutical hubs, or drug manufacturer reporting environments. Key Responsibilities Requirements Gathering & Documentation - Partner with internal teams and external pharmaceutical clients to gather and document reporting requirements. - Translate business needs into clear user stories, technical requirements, and acceptance criteria. - Create and manage JIRA tickets for development teams to build reports and dashboards. Salesforce Reporting Support - Work with stakeholders to define reporting needs using Salesforce data and operational program data. - Maintain familiarity with Salesforce objects, fields, and relationships to ensure accurate reporting requirements. - Collaborate with developers to clarify requirements and answer data-related questions during report development. Report Validation & Data Quality - Validate report outputs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with stakeholder expectations. - Investigate discrepancies when stakeholders report incorrect or unexpected numbers. - Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and confirm reports meet requirements prior to release. Stakeholder Collaboration - Serve as a liaison between operations, client services, product teams, and development teams. - Facilitate meetings to clarify reporting requirements and communicate priorities. - Provide documentation, walkthroughs, and training for newly developed reports. Reporting Operations - Manage multiple reporting requests in an Agile development environment. - Ensure documentation and requirements remain organized and accessible. - Support ongoing improvements to reporting processes and documentation standards.

  • Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in a Business Analyst, Reporting Analyst, or Data Analyst role.
  • Experience writing requirements, user stories, and JIRA tickets for development teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to translate business needs into structured reporting requirements.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with Salesforce reporting or Salesforce data models.
  • Experience in patient access programs, specialty pharmacy, pharmaceutical hubs, or drug manufacturer support services.
  • Familiarity with healthcare data, patient journey workflows, or therapy initiation programs.
  • Experience working in Agile environments with JIRA.
  • Exposure to SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar reporting tools.

Job Description Be a part of a world-class academic healthcare system, UChicago Medicine as a Payer Compliance Analyst for our Revenue Cycle Improv Department. This position will be primarily a work from home opportunity with the requirement to come onsite as needed. You may be based outside of the greater Chicagoland area. The Payer Compliance Analyst leads the payer compliance monitoring and reimbursement integrity for the UChicago Medicine (UCM) Revenue Cycle for contracted fee-for-service payers including Commercial payers, International payers, Medicare Advantage payers and Medicaid MCO payers by conducting payment variance analyses, monitoring expected reimbursement against payment activity, and preparing reports and analyses to inform revenue cycle and Office of Manage Care (OMC) leadership of payer compliance issues that do not conform to contractual terms. Essential Job Functions - Provide support for any payer compliance documentation needed for possible dispute resolution processes with payers including mediation, arbitration and other legal actions including court proceedings. - Lead the revenue cycle teams in monitoring and enforcement of payer reimbursement compliance including account receivable (AR) variances related to UM issues, requests for information, audits, denials, underpayments and no pays. Maintain a detailed electronic tracking system of all payer compliance issues and claims for tracking, trending and resolution. Collaborates with various staff (e.g. AR follow-up team, UM, charge and code auditors, revenue integrity, quality auditors, underpay analysts, OMC contractors, etc.) to compile worklists and trends that highlight payer compliance issues - Support the revenue cycle and OMC through active participation in monthly payer joint operating committee (JOC) meetings and payer operational meetings including creation of agenda items, tracking reports and payer dashboard/trending reports with the lead role in payer accountability and follow-up on action items for remediation and resolution.
