The Video Editor is a creative role that blends foundational video editing skills with emerging AI-powered tools to support the creation of high-quality paid media content. Working under the guidance of senior editors, this individual is responsible for everything from project setup and assembly cuts to managing versions, preparing files for delivery, and occasionally finishing smaller edits independently. This role is ideal for someone who is technically curious, eager to grow, and excited about the future of AI in media production. The Video Editor actively learns and applies tools such as Runway, Midjourney, DALL·E, Google Imagen, and Adobe Sensei to assist with content creation and workflow enhancement. As a developing post-production specialist, this person supports both video and photo teams, occasionally helping with retouching tasks and collaborating across disciplines to ensure efficient execution and elevated output. Role Description We are looking for a full-time YouTube Video Editor to join their remote content team. You will work on a fast-growing YouTube channel with 45K+ subscribers and a 16K+ member community, focused on AI tools, vibe coding, AI agents, automation, AI websites, and AI apps. Our content consists mainly of explainer-style tutorials with talking-head footage, screen recordings, and animations. Recordings are done using a teleprompter, so raw footage is clean and easy to edit. You will work with a remote team of 5–10 people, including scriptwriters, content creators, editors, thumbnail designers, and project managers. Our time-zone-optimized workflow: - Asia: Scriptwriting - Europe: Recording - South America: Editing Once footage is uploaded, your workday begins. Each video is expected to be completed within 8–9 hours and submitted via Frame.io for review.
