Essential Responsibilities: The Senior Software Engineer - Microservices will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient microservices architecture using Spring Boot framework. Essential responsibilities include: designing, developing, and maintaining microservices architecture to support scalable, modular, and efficient application ecosystems; implementing robust APIs with GraphQL to enable flexible and efficient data querying and manipulation; analyzing complex business requirements and designing optimized, scalable solutions that align with current industry standards and best practices; developing robust Spring Boot applications designed to securely manage credentials by integrating with HashiCorp Vault; leveraging AWS IAM roles to assume temporary credentials, ensuring secure and automated authentication; designing, architecting, and implementing secure and scalable digital payment solutions such as electronic wallets; leading an offshore team by serving as a point of contact for their queries, providing clear guidance and support to address challenges efficiently; conducting thorough testing of software programs to identify defects and ensure functionality meets requirements; diagnosing and debugging issues by analyzing code and system behavior to pinpoint root causes of errors; implementing effective bug fixes to resolve identified problems, improving software stability and performance; utilizing Splunk to troubleshoot and resolve system and application issues by crafting and executing complex search queries; utilizing core AWS services, including EC2, S3, ELB, VPC, IAM, and RDS, to architect, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure; participating in the ongoing improvement and optimization of existing codebases for better readability and maintainability; and identifying, analyzing, and resolving technical problems affecting the container platform environment. Required Skills/Experience: Must possess 5 years of experience with all of the following: designing, developing, and maintaining Spring Boot applications for enterprise-grade solutions; building scalable, fault-tolerant, and secure microservices architectures; debugging and optimizing authorization workflows to ensure high performance and reliability; implementing comprehensive logging functionality in Spring Boot applications to enhance the ability to monitor application behavior; debugging issues and maintaining detailed records of system events; migrating and modernizing existing legacy applications to Spring Boot framework; designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful APIs within a microservices architecture to ensure scalability, reliability, and seamless inter-service communication; designing and managing scalable, secure cloud infrastructure with the following AWS services - EC2, S3, ELB, VPC, IAM, and RDS; using Splunk to debug issues by developing complex search queries; creating reports and dashboards within Splunk for real-time data analysis; developing and maintaining highly interactive web applications; Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure; Docker; Kubernetes; Java; and JavaScript.
