Each week, the class meets online on the ClassIn (classin.com) platform for two 90-minute lessons. Lessons are fully prepared by our design team, and recordings of the lesson from past semesters are provided to clarify teaching expectations. Interaction with students includes multiple choice activities, student-submitted written work, and direct oral interaction. Compensation - 66 USD per hour for each new lesson taught: $100 per 90-minute lesson. - The payment is for the actual teaching of the lesson. Additional time must be spent reviewing the material, preparing for and recording a demo (without students) to show that you are fully prepared to teach the class. - 50 USD per hour for each repeated lesson taught (i.e. lessons you have already taught previously): $75 per 90-minute lesson Remuneration is through Wise (wise.com), monthly, between the 10th and the 12th of the month. • Read and understand protocol-specific design, objectives, and study procedures • Prepare study-specific informed consent documents using established templates, information from protocols, content libraries and glossaries (when appropriate), and required risk language • Work with protocol authors to ensure comprehensive understanding of protocol details and the protocol approval timeline • Write, edit and review informed consent documents that reflect the principles of health literacy • Manage informed consent writing projects including the design, planning, and preparation of documentation in support of clinical development • Participate, when appropriate, in clinical trial team meetings to ensure timely delivery of the informed consent document(s) • Resolve document issues relating to informed consent • Support Global Clinical Trial Operations with informed consent process expertise and study specific support • Possible participation in the orientation and coaching of junior team members • Possible participation in initiatives to improve medical writing processes and standards • Support tool development, enhancements, and testing, as applicable • Ensure compliance with company training and time reporting

• Draft rebate agreements, amendments, notice letters and other contract documents • Craft document language that accurately describes new programs, rebates, and discount structures in the contract document • Project manage planned and ad-hoc special projects within Contract Development and U.S. Value & Access • Research and produce contract documents in support of internal and external audits and litigation • Participate in document review meetings, communicating document status and history to partners • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Legal, Government Programs, Market Access, Coverage & Pricing, and the Contract Execution team to ensure accurate, executable contracts and seamless implementation of completed contracts into our financial system of record • Partner with and support the CLM system team as needed to assist with optimization of the system and the contracting process

Role Description You will provide support for tasks and contribute to initiatives that help fulfill AGU's mission and strategic goals while gaining hands-on experience in editorial operations and publications promotion. You will be a proactive person who is organized and has strong time management skills. This internship will be split between two core functions of the Publications department: Journal operations (60%) - Assist with tasks in GEMS (AGU journals’ submission and peer review platform) for assigned journals to ensure that submitted manuscripts are processed in accordance with journal expectations in terms of timeliness, ethical standards, and quality while maintaining strong, positive relationships with the editors, authors, and reviewers. - Provide support to editors, authors, and reviewers, including GEMS assistance, advice on procedures and policy, troubleshooting production and publication related issues, assisting with coordination of editorial board calls, note-taking during board calls, etc. - Provide support during peak volume times, potentially assisting other journals during these times. - Contribute to small projects of professional interest. Editor relations and support (40%) - Support efforts to audit and update editorial board listings (mastheads) on journal websites. - Provide admin support and coordination for our Editor-in-Chief search initiatives, including scheduling candidate interviews. - Help research and create proposals and carbon footprint estimates for various cities in consideration for our annual Editor-in-Chief retreat.
