Discover more at flashpoint.io Flashpoint is looking for an Intelligence Analyst II on our Global Physical Security Intelligence team that serves as the first line of defense for clients facing natural disasters, geopolitical crises, and emerging threats. This fast-paced, global role requires an experienced Intelligence Analyst to conduct web-based research, produce high-impact analytic reports, and deliver timely tactical alerts. The critical intelligence generated will support diverse clients worldwide in crisis management, natural disaster response, crime analysis, and emergency action planning. We have a role for you if, you: - Are an expert in open-source research (OSINT), including navigating the deep/dark web and social media platforms, conducting online footprint investigations, and using link analysis to map and uncover complex threats. - are native or full professional proficiency (C1/C2) in both English and Spanish, with the ability to conduct nuanced research and reporting in both languages. - have formal training and a proven track record as an Intelligence Analyst within military, public sector, law enforcement, or high-stakes corporate security environments - have a deep working knowledge of criminal and extremist Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), including underground slang, recruitment patterns, and real-world operational cycles, coupled with familiarity with the online or real-world operations of Domestic/international extremist groups, organized crime gangs, or human/narcotics trafficking organizations. - connect the dots between social/political movements and their direct impact on global extremism, organized crime, and geopolitical risk - possess exceptional writing skills, with the ability to rapidly distill complex technical data into concise, "C-suite ready" assessments that clearly define risk and impact What you will get to do on our team: - Analyze and synthesize data using proprietary tools, internal data sources, and external resources to enhance our client operational needs. - Author high-quality tactical and strategic assessments to support risk intelligence decision-making processes. - Collaborate with internal teams and customers to produce concise, written analysis and visual presentations that proactively identify and reduce risk. - Rapidly comprehend, execute, and support intelligence production while strictly adhering to standard operating procedures and operational security protocols. - Evaluate raw data to determine credibility and relevance to our client base. - Identify and nominate new collection sources to support Flashpoint's intelligence gathering efforts. - Develop keywords and patterns to highlight high-signal data within Flashpoint tools. - Articulate and adhere to the security safeguards necessary to perform job responsibilities. - Comply with all Flashpoint organizational and Intel team policies and procedures, including Rules of Engagement. - Safely navigate virtual environments to support assigned tasks, where applicable. What you will achieve: - Within 30 Days: You will be fully onboarded, integrated into our professional intelligence analyst team, assigned a dedicated mentor, and have the necessary access, resources, and training to begin tackling your initial deliverables. - Within 60 Days: You will have developed a solid grasp of internal team operations, a robust understanding of customer intelligence requirements, and initiated relevant research for client deliverables. You will have conducted your own initial investigations, drafting and publishing the findings within the Flashpoint intelligence platform. - By 90 Days: You will be fully confident and comfortable handling day-to-day tasks, working both independently and as part of the team, and will have begun building professional relationships with cross-functional teams essential for long-term success. To be successful in this role, you will need: - Experience or knowledge in conducting and producing physical threat risk assessments. - Prior experience conducting online background investigations or coordinating online investigations targeting threat actors/persons of interest (POI). - Hands-on experience applying established threat assessment methodologies (e.g., TRAP-18, WAVR-21) to analyze and evaluate individuals of concern. - Professional certifications such as APP, CTM, CPP, ISP, PCI, PSC, PSP, or relevant intelligence community credentials. - Exposure to physical, executive, or corporate security operations.
