Job Description The Remote Project Manager (PM) at Intelligent Technical Solutions (ITS) leads client-facing technology projects in a fast-paced Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment. This role is responsible for managing multiple small-to-medium IT projects simultaneously including client onboarding, Microsoft 365 migrations, infrastructure refreshes, network upgrades, and cybersecurity deployments. The PM ensures all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with both client expectations and ITS’s service standards. Working closely with technical teams, account managers, and service delivery leaders, the PM drives clear communication, structured execution, and exceptional client experience from kickoff to handoff. Job Responsibilities Project Ownership & Execution - Plan, coordinate, and deliver IT projects for SMB clients such as server/cloud migrations, security stack deployments, and network infrastructure upgrades. - Manage multiple concurrent projects using ConnectWise Manage. - Define project scope, tasks, timelines, and resource assignments using ITS templates and standards. - Track and communicate project milestones, dependencies, and risks with clients and internal teams. - Ensure seamless handoff to Service Delivery or Support once projects are completed. Stakeholder Engagement - Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during project execution, ensuring consistent communication and expectation management. - Partner with Account Managers, vCIOs, and Technical Leads to align project objectives with client needs. - Conduct kickoff, status, and closeout meetings with internal and external stakeholders. - Ensure partners and vendors are informed of relevant project milestones and deliverables. Team Leadership & Risk Management - Coordinate efforts across engineering, procurement, and service delivery teams to maintain accountability and progress. - Identify, document, and mitigate risks before they impact schedule or quality. - Proactively manage change requests and ensure project documentation remains current. - Uphold ITS’s quality standards and process discipline across all project engagements. What Success Looks Like - Projects delivered on schedule and within defined scope. - Clients express high satisfaction with project communication and outcomes. - Internal handoffs to Service Delivery occur smoothly and without rework. - Documentation is complete, standardized, and audit-ready. - Cross-departmental collaboration and visibility are consistently strong. Job Qualifications - 3+ years of project management experience within a Managed Services Provider (MSP) or IT consulting firm. - Proven success managing multiple concurrent client projects of varying scope and complexity. - Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, cloud technologies (especially Microsoft 365 and Azure), and cybersecurity best practices. - Experience managing client onboarding, technology refresh, or environment migration projects. - Proficiency with ConnectWise Manage, and documentation tools like IT Glue. - Excellent communication and relationship management skills with both technical and non-technical audiences. - Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to thrive in a fully remote, fast-paced, client-facing environment. Preferred Experience - Familiarity with Microsoft 365 environments, SharePoint/OneDrive migrations, Azure, and related technologies and PC Deployments. - Experience working in a fast-paced MSP environment. - Certifications such as PMP, CAPM, Prince 2, ITIL, or Agile/Scrum credentials are a plus. KPIs - Project Closure Rate: Percentage of projects completed on time and within scope. - Client Satisfaction (CSAT): Feedback on communication, transparency, and delivery quality. - Budget Management: Alignment of resource hours with project budgets. - Transition Quality: Smoothness of project-to-support handoffs. - Risk Management: Documentation and mitigation of project risks. Job Requirements - A home office set up that meets the following: - Computer: A working computer with a minimum of 8GB RAM and one of the following: - Windows 11 with an Intel i5 or i7 (8th generation or newer), or - AMD Ryzen 5 or 7 (2000 series or newer), or - macOS 12 or newer. - Internet: Stable internet connection with at least 5 Mbps download and upload speeds. - Audio Equipment: A quality headset with a noise-cancellation feature for meetings. - Mobile Device: A smartphone capable of installing the Microsoft Authenticator app. - Webcam: An HD webcam for video calls. - A very strong cultural fit the ITS way (Our core values will be discussed during the interview) - Excellent command of the English language both spoken and written - Able to work full time 40 hours a week: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST (Monday to Friday) - Able to pass our online behavior and cognitive assessments. - Able to provide NBI Clearance (for PH applicants). Compensation Pay rate starts at $8.00/hour and vary by experience and location.
