You'll develop valuable recruiting skills while supporting a mission that will directly impact millions of voters. Flexible Commitment: Approximately 5-6 hours per week during times that work for you, with one hour scheduled for Talent Acquisition meetings. What You'll Do Your main responsibilities: - Screen applications and conduct video interviews with potential volunteers. - Help guide people from their first interest through joining our team. - Partner with our Talent Acquisitions Operations team to create and publish new roles. - Share WeVote's mission and help candidates understand how they can contribute to the organization. - Suggest improvements to make our recruiting process more welcoming and effective. - Work with our team to create volunteer opportunities for people with different skill sets. Skills you'll develop: - Learn to use recruiting software and conduct remote interviews. - Practice fairly assessing candidates with different backgrounds and skills. - Gain experience recruiting for both technical and community-focused roles. - Understand how mission-driven organizations find and welcome talent. Who We're Looking For - Recruiting professionals with 1+ years of experience, OR recent graduates interested in launching a talent acquisition career. - Passionate about using technology to strengthen American democracy. - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. - 5-6 hours weekly availability, with one hour available for weekly team meetings. - Committed to nonpartisan civic engagement and voter empowerment. - Are located in the US (required) and are comfortable working remotely. Young Americans for Liberty is looking for several Campus Volunteer Interns who want to spend their summer doing more than observing. This program is for students and activists who want to build real momentum on campuses across the country and prove they can operate at a high standard. This is not a passive internship. You will be part of the engine driving the nation’s largest campus-based liberty movement. The work is real, the expectations are high, and the experience will challenge you to grow as a leader and organizer. If you are serious about playing a role in the liberty movement, this program will give you the opportunity to prove it. About the role YAL’s Campus Volunteer Internship Program is designed to develop and train high-performing future liberty leaders through a hands-on volunteer internship. Interns will work directly with the Campus Department to support recruitment, chapter accountability, petition campaigns, and the internal systems that keep YAL’s national campus network moving. You will gain an inside look at how a nationwide grassroots organization operates while helping ensure student activists across the country are mobilizing, organizing, and winning on campus. This program serves as a proving ground for future leaders in the liberty movement.
