• Design and implement high-quality, scalable services to be consumed by multiple Grafana Cloud products. • Work with product teams, in addition to design and docs, to develop features that align with wider product strategy and customer needs • Support the technical direction and vision of the team, contributing to strategic discussions and future development of observability solutions • When necessary, represent Grafana Labs in open source forums, working groups, and events • Work with other departments including Sales, Product, and Support teams to deliver a holistic product experience • Be a part of your team’s follow-the-sun on-call rotations and take ownership of the services you’re running • Embrace our open-source culture and contribute to other projects that may not directly fall within your team’s scope.

• Work with a mature cross functional agile teams on a hugely successful flagship product for the business • Develop on-premise components, cloud microservices and and integrate with modern cloud platforms • Design, develop and test architecture changes, product features and improvements • Use containerization and cloud technology (compute, network and storage) to build, deploy and execute services and applications in the cloud • Support product monitoring and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality standards • Drive development team best practices and standards • Participate in peer reviews and promote good quality, secure development practices • Collaborate with other teams to improve existing products, services and tools • Complete all mandatory company-wide compliance training and job-specific training required for the role, including QMS, ISMS, GxP, DocuSign, SDLC as applicable

• Design and develop scalable, distributed, server-side applications and microservices using Go. • Build and optimize mission-critical backend software, with a strong focus on system programming, concurrency, and performance tuning. • Design and implement robust peer-to-peer (P2P) communication systems (P2P experience is mandatory). • Contribute to or build systems using libp2p or similar P2P frameworks. • Ensure cross-platform compatibility and consistent application behavior across environments. • Collaborate within an Agile/Scrum team, contributing to backlog refinement, risk identification, and dependency management. • Produce clean, maintainable, and reusable code, following strong engineering standards. • Optimize backend systems for performance, reliability, security, and fault tolerance. • Establish and enhance backend infrastructure, including deployment pipelines, observability, and monitoring tooling. • Work across multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and collaborate closely with infrastructure teams. • Participate actively in the full application lifecycle, from design to production operations. • Engage with product and design teams to deeply understand end-user and platform requirements. • Conduct thorough code reviews, mentor other engineers, and raise overall backend engineering quality. • Champion best engineering practices and a culture of high-quality software craftsmanship.

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using C# and .NET • Build and optimize backend components that interact with SQL Server • Develop and maintain API integrations, including integrations with external enterprise systems such as SAP • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver reliable backend solutions • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented backend code • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve backend performance and data issues • Participate in technical discussions and provide clear status updates to stakeholders
