• Design, implement, and maintain automated infrastructure provisioning and management systems, developing infrastructure-as-code solutions using Python and automation frameworks. • Build, manage, and optimize Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform clusters with a focus on scalability, resilience, and lifecycle management (upgrades, scaling, disaster recovery). • Architect and implement Kubernetes operators, custom resources, and controllers to extend platform functionality and automate complex tasks. • Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment, configuration, and application delivery. • Develop robust Python scripts, automation tools, and reusable modules for infrastructure management, monitoring, logging, and alerting. • Configure and maintain critical platform components including networking, storage, security, and service mesh within containerized environments. • Collaborate with development teams to enable self-service infrastructure and streamline developer workflows. • Mentor junior engineers, promote automation and GitOps best practices, and contribute to architectural discussions and technology evaluations. • Document systems design, automation processes, and operational runbooks comprehensively.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years experience in infrastructure automation and platform engineering
- Expert-level knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform
- Strong proficiency in Python programming for automation (3+ years)
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture, networking, and storage
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Ansible, Terraform, etc.)
- Knowledge of container technologies (Docker, Podman, CRI-O)
- Familiarity with GitOps methodologies and tools (ArgoCD, Flux)
