Job Description

Director, Business Development

Condor Software

About Condor Every year, hundreds of billions of dollars are invested to discover and develop new therapies, yet the financial infrastructure behind that work has not kept pace. Clinical operations and finance live in disconnected worlds, forcing teams to make high-stakes decisions using fragmented tools and static data. Condor exists to change that. We are a system of action, building the financial intelligence layer that will power the next era of clinical development. Condor connects clinical operations, vendor activity, and financial signals into a single, real-time intelligence layer, giving R&D and finance leaders true command over how their organizations operate. Condor is pharma-native, AI-driven infrastructure built to scale industry standards we helped define with Big 4 partners. It powers prediction, control, and execution across the most complex R&D environments in the world. Why This Matters Now Condor has moved past proving the concept. Enterprise teams already trust Condor to run critical operations and finance. The work ahead is the hardest part: scaling something people depend on when the stakes are this high. Condor is a high-growth company backed by top institutional partners like Felicis and 645 Ventures, growing rapidly with Top 200 biopharma companies. This is a rare opportunity to help build foundational infrastructure that will shape how new therapies reach patients. The Role Condor is looking for a Director of Business Development to help define how an entirely new category is sold into enterprise life sciences organizations. This is a senior, hands-on role for an experienced enterprise seller who thrives in complex, consultative sales cycles and wants ownership of outcomes, not just a territory. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth across mid-market and enterprise biopharma customers, leading deals from first conversation through close and expansion. You will work directly with senior finance, R&D, and clinical executives to help them understand a fundamentally new way of running operations and finance, navigating long sales cycles, multi-stakeholder decision-making, and rigorous enterprise buying processes. This role goes beyond execution. You will help shape Condor’s commercial strategy as we scale, influence how we position and package the platform, and collaborate closely with product, marketing, and customer success to turn early trust into long-term partnerships. You will build executive relationships, lead high-impact conversations and events, and operate with the autonomy expected of a leader. This role is for enterprise sellers who want to build a market, not just close deals. Key Responsibilities Strategic Growth & Pipeline Development - Identify, engage, and convert new life sciences customers from emerging biotech to enterprise pharma, with a focus on the Enterprise Segment. - Map the market, understand therapeutic pipelines, and uncover opportunities within the R&D finance ecosystem. - Partner with BDRs to execute targeted campaigns, ABM programs, and lead-generation initiatives. Client Engagement & Relationship Leadership - Build trusted relationships with senior finance, FP&A, and clinical operations executives. - Serve as a consultative partner - helping sponsors transform manual financial workflows into automated, audit-ready processes. - Represent Condor at industry conferences, panels, and client events. Lead and organize and host regional roundtables, dinners, and partner gatherings that drive awareness and engagement. Sales Strategy, Contracting & Execution - Lead complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles with precision and urgency. - Negotiate, manage and lead complex commercial contracts including MSAs, Sales Orders and enterprise agreements in collaboration with Legal ensuring win-win outcomes. - Develop SOWs, tailored business cases, ROI models, and executive presentations to demonstrate value. - Collaborate closely with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Implementation to ensure smooth transitions and measurable client outcomes. Startup Execution & Leadership - Operate with an ownership mindset. This is a role where you must wear multiple hats, move fast, and adapt quickly. - Contribute to pricing strategy, sales playbooks, and early GTM structure. - Bring market feedback to product and leadership teams to inform roadmap priorities. Required Skills & Experience - 5+ years of enterprise SaaS or life sciences technology sales experience (FP&A, R&D, clinical, or finance domains a plus). - Proven ability to manage complex deal cycles and multi-party negotiations. - Experience planning or hosting customer and industry events that advance business development goals. - Strong cross-functional collaboration skills - thrives working with Product, Marketing, and CS teams. - Excellent communication, presentation, and executive relationship-building abilities. - Entrepreneurial mindset-thrives in a high-growth, fast-moving environment and comfortable wearing multiple hats. - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Life Sciences, or related field. What We Offer - Competitive compensation and meaningful equity participation - Comprehensive employee benefits, including 100% company-paid health, dental, vision, and life insurance - 401(k) plan with a 3% company match that vests immediately - Unlimited PTO Condor is an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected status.

Partnerships & Business Development Manager

SPREEAI

SPREEAI is where your shopping experience meets AI.

OtherRemoteTeam 11-50H1B No Sponsor

About the Role In this role, you’ll report into the Global Head of Partnerships and Business Development. You’ll sit at the center of SPREEAI’s commercial engine—owning relationships with fashion brands, retailers, platforms, and technology partners, and turning those relationships into real revenue, live integrations, and long-term strategic leverage. You’ll work closely with founders and cross-functional leaders across product, engineering, design, and marketing to bring complex partnerships to life, from first pitch through launch and expansion. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, thinks creatively about how ecosystems connect, and knows how to balance strategy with scrappy execution. If you’re excited by building partnerships that don’t just close deals—but shape markets—you’ll have the opportunity to do that here, with real ownership and real impact. What you'll do - Manage Partner Portfolio: Serve as the primary account manager for a portfolio of fashion brand, retail, and technology partners. Build and maintain strong relationships, ensuring each partnership is well-supported and delivering mutual value. Manage multiple partner accounts and projects simultaneously, prioritizing to meet all ongoing needs in a fast-paced environment. - Plan & Execute Launches: Create clear workback schedules and launch plans for each partner integration or campaign. Coordinate cross-functional teams (product, engineering, design, marketing) and partner stakeholders to ensure on-time, smooth launches of SPREEAI’s solutions on partner platforms. - Assess Integration Complexity: Evaluate partners’ technical integration requirements early in the engagement. Determine whether an integration will require a custom solution or can leverage repeatable, scalable approaches, and estimate the level of effort (light vs. heavy lift) for implementation. Communicate these insights to internal teams to inform project scope and resourcing. - Integration & Tech Collaboration: Work closely with SPREEAI’s product and engineering teams to facilitate seamless partner integrations. Leverage your understanding of e-commerce platforms (e.g. Shopify) and integration methods (APIs, SDKs, ISV connectors, etc.) to guide partners through the integration process. Troubleshoot integration challenges and ensure that SPREEAI’s technology is successfully embedded in each partner’s commerce stack. - Business Development: Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities across the fashion, AI, and e-commerce ecosystem. Pitch SPREEAI’s value proposition to potential partners – from major fashion retailers to tech platforms – and negotiate partnership agreements that drive strategic growth. - Drive Partner Success & Revenue: Monitor partnership performance metrics and outcomes (integration adoption, shopper engagement, revenue generation, etc.). Proactively work with partners to optimize results, identify upsell or expansion opportunities, and ensure that partnerships contribute to SPREEAI’s revenue and growth targets. - Creative Problem-Solving: Take a scrappy, resourceful approach to overcoming obstacles and ambiguities. When processes are not clearly defined, develop creative solutions and interim processes to keep partnerships on track. Anticipate issues before they escalate, and act as the go-to problem solver to unblock any barriers to partner success. - Cross-Functional Coordination: Serve as the liaison between partners and SPREEAI’s internal teams. Advocate for partner needs and timelines internally, and ensure alignment between what partners expect and what our teams deliver. Facilitate clear communication and knowledge-sharing to continuously improve our partnership playbook. Qualifications - Experience: 5+ years in partnerships, business development, or account management roles, preferably at high-growth tech or e-commerce companies. Experience with fast-moving commerce platforms (TikTok Shop, Amazon, Temu, etc.) is a strong plus. - E-commerce Knowledge: Deep understanding of online retail platforms and commerce technology stacks – especially Shopify and related e-commerce tools. Familiarity with the operational and technical workings of digital commerce (product feeds, checkout, payment integration, etc.). - Project Management Skills: Proven ability to create and execute detailed project plans or workback schedules for complex initiatives. Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines without sacrificing quality or detail. - Technical Acumen: Ability to quickly grasp technical integration concepts and constraints. Comfortable discussing APIs, SDKs, and third-party software connectors; capable of assessing whether a partner integration can use an existing (repeatable) solution or requires a custom build, and estimating the effort involved. - Relationship & Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Adept at building trust with external partners and collaborating with internal teams. Able to translate technical concepts into business implications and vice versa, facilitating clear understanding for all stakeholders. - Problem-Solving Mindset: Creative, solution-oriented thinker who thrives in ambiguous environments. Scrappy and resourceful in finding ways to get things done, you excel at improvising processes and navigating unstructured situations to meet goals. - Results & Revenue Focus: A driven, revenue-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. You focus on outcomes and are motivated by growing partnerships that drive measurable business results. - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology or a related field (or equivalent professional experience). Why Join SPREEAI? - Real Impact & Ownership: This is an opportunity to shape a product and brand at the forefront of fashion-tech innovation. Your design work will directly impact how thousands (eventually millions) of people experience shopping with SPREEAI – no bureaucratic layers, your ideas can go live and make a difference immediately. You’ll own projects that truly matter in the company’s growth. - Visionary Team & Exposure: Work side-by-side with a passionate founding team and collaborate with industry visionaries. You’ll have direct access to our CEO and leadership, and even get to interact with world-class advisors (our board includes an iconic fashion figure). It’s a chance to learn from and contribute to the best of both the tech and fashion worlds. - Creative Freedom & Innovation: Join a high-growth startup environment that celebrates bold ideas and moves at lightning speed. You’ll have the autonomy to introduce new design concepts, test emerging technologies, and innovate without red tape. If you’ve ever wanted to combine your love of design, luxury fashion, and cutting-edge tech, you’ll have the freedom to do it here and see your vision realized.

WHAT WE NEED Imagine Maverick, the Naval aviator and now Top Gun instructor. Maverick is not afraid to push the envelope. They have learned some tough lessons but stay true to their CORE belief that there is always a better way, even if it means rethinking everything. That’s what we need – a Maverick. If you are looking for a cause, you may have found it. We push the envelope by challenging industry norms, the status quo, inefficient processes, and curiosity to “think differently”. This is more than a sales role; it’s a chance to join an innovative company disrupting an industry. WHAT YOU WILL DO Most hospital systems use outsourced services. However, most don’t realize outsourcing their SPD is an option. That’s why we need a Maverick – you’d be making moves no one has tried before. These are large contracts, the kind that begins and ends in the C-Suite. SPD is the most capital intensive and complex operation in a hospital. SPDs are understaffed, underequipped and undersized. They are also one of the key limiting factors to growth. Elective surgeries drive revenue and to add an operating room means their SPD falls further behind – impacting patient safety and growth. We need someone who can identify and secure meetings with COOs, CFOs, CEOs, and senior surgery and supply chain executives and walk them through the Instrumentum value proposition – it’s compelling. - Sales Planning and Execution - - Assess new market opportunities. - Identify opportunities with Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs). - Create go-to-market plans and cadence. - Customer Acquisition and Retention - - Secure C-Suite meetings with potential clients. - Demonstrate Instrumentum value proposition. - Win new contracts. WHAT WE OFFER - A compelling vision and mission, and the collective pursuit of excellence. - A great environment. We’re fun to work with and are building an awesome team. - Generous benefits and growth opportunity with a well-positioned, fast-growing company WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TABLE - +/- 10 years of experience and demonstrated success in full cycle sales. Kinda makes sense. - 5+ years of experience selling long-term multi-million-dollar service or capital contracts to hospital systems. - Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, engineering or equivalent. - Excellent communication skills -- ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization internally or with a customer. - Proficiency in using CRM software and procedures. If it isn’t in there, it didn’t happen 😊. - Ability to work and manage time on your own or as part of a team. - Comfortable working under pressure and resiliency. Green tea can help with this. - Creative problem solving, negotiating and conflict resolution skills. Stuff happens, and the only way through is through! - Self-Starter with a broad business background. Get up, get going, bring something to the table! - Attention to detail. There are always opportunities in the details. - Strong interpersonal skills. DETAILS This is a fully REMOTE position, reporting to our Chief Commercial Officer. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
