Director, Human Resources Administration

New Classrooms

• Oversee HR strategy and operations for a fully remote organization • Manage payroll, employee benefits, personnel policies, legal compliance • Ensure positive and supportive culture and experience for all employees • Serve as the core of New Classrooms HR • Design and execute on a vision for HR policies and processes

Job Requirements

  • 8 years' experience in human resource administration with a mid- to large-size organization
  • SHRM or HRCI certification a plus
  • At least 2 years of experience actively managing payroll
  • Experience with Paylocity a plus
  • Knowledge of employment law statutes and other government regulations, including FLSA, COBRA, ERISA
  • Experience with leave management (workers comp, FMLA, disability)
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Ability to champion the employee experience
  • Ability to be self directed as well as work closely with multiple teams
  • Excellent judgment in resolving complex or difficult matters
  • Collaborative, team player with demonstrated ability to build positive internal and external relationships
