Risk & Fraud Analyst II

Boulevard Labs

• Responsible for actioning day-to-day alerts related to fraud prevention, investigations, and dispute processing. • Monitor and analyze different types of information for decision making. • Assess risk levels and make approval recommendations for onboarding and payment processing limits. • Build trust with customers and internal teams through excellent experience and education. • Provide feedback on risk program improvements and assist in implementing those insights. • Stay informed of fraud trends and relevant regulations for maintaining an exceptional risk program. • Assist in developing fraud detection and risk management systems and tools.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3-7 years of experience in the payments industry, focusing on underwriting, transaction monitoring, or fraud management.
  • Experience with SQL, Tableau or Sigma required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite/Google, especially Excel/Sheets.
  • Familiarity with merchant processing platforms and applications.
  • Experience with automation and/or AI tooling on the job is required.
  • Ability to read and understand credit card processing statements.
  • Knowledge of card brands (Visa, Mastercard, etc.) rules and regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and research capabilities.
  • Able to research and make decisions on complex merchant-related issues.
