Role Description This I&C position offers the opportunity to work on upgrading and modernizing nuclear power plants with the latest control technologies the industry offers. You will be expected to both lead and support small and large controls projects with a focus on technical execution and effective Project Management. These projects will require coordination with mechanical, electrical, and structural disciplines to bring the project to completion. - Investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving a wide variety of controls engineering issues, including: - Develop Digital Systems Design -- PLC, DCS, HSI, networked computer systems. - Prepare control system functional and implementation requirements and procurement specifications for nuclear plant control systems. - Interface with the client to ensure proper project execution and client satisfaction. - Prepare and review technical reports, calculations, and studies to present information in a clear and concise manner to meet client requirements. - Manage resources/resource loading and develop estimates for task completion and budget development. - Support the development of proposals. - Prepare and review diagrams and drawings for new and upgraded controls solutions. - Evaluate vendor bids from a technical perspective. - Interface with vendors to perform document reviews, ensure equipment compliance with specifications and needs of the plant, and witness FAT performance on behalf of the client. - Support implementation of the project at the client’s facilities. Qualifications - We do not sponsor employees for work authorization in the U.S. for this position. - BS or MS in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or Nuclear Engineering from an ABET accredited program. - 12 or more years of experience in the design engineering of instrumentation and controls systems in a project team environment for commercial, industrial applications, with a focus on integrated and detailed system design modifications. - Professional Engineering license is preferred. - Ability to clearly communicate both in speech and written formats. - Technically knowledgeable of available equipment and proven pre-engineered systems to execute systems design. - Experience with serving as the firm's client liaison in a support or lead engineering role. - Experience in reviewing design documentation. • Design and develop multi-layer PCBs (6+ layers) for embedded systems • Own schematic capture, component selection, layout review, and bring-up • Route and validate high-speed interfaces (PCIe, USB 3.x, MIPI CSI, Ethernet, etc.) • Design and debug power architectures , including: - POE/POE+/POE++ - Solar-powered systems - MPPT/battery backed designs • Work closely with firmware teams on MCU and application processor integration • Support board bring-up, validation, and manufacturing handoff • Participate in failure analysis, root-cause debugging, and iterative revisions

• Oversee all engineering responsibilities and activities • Delegates engineering responsibilities and activities within their team • Leads the design and checking processes • Manages the day-to-day activities of schedule and design • Directly trains and directs EEs and EETs under their charge • Maintains design standards and training guidelines • Coordinates and problem solves issues between design teams and departments • Answers technical questions posed by construction managers, field staff, project managers, customers and their representatives. • Recognizes and recommends methods to improve every customer’s experience. • Travels periodically to both customer offices for project meetings and to job sites for construction visits. • Performs bi-yearly evaluations on all employees reporting to them

• Lead design initiatives that align with the company's strategic direction and goals. • Drive the development and implementation of processes, equipment, and standards for data center projects. • Set strategic direction for electrical design and oversee the execution of complex engineering projects from concept through commissioning. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including construction, operations, sales, and leadership, to achieve project goals and foster organizational success. • Coach less experienced professionals, sharing expertise and promoting best practices. • Participate in all phases of project execution, including conceptual design, basis of design, scope of work, development of construction documents, and commissioning. • Provide project leadership for electrical design consultants and contractors, ensuring that tasks and milestones are completed on time and within budget. • Attend project design team meetings and on-site job walks, as needed, to ensure that the constructed product meets engineering standards and specifications. • Conduct value engineering analyses and provide system recommendations based on return on investment (ROI) and internal rate of return (IRR) analysis. • Responsible for the review of technical drawings, such as schematic drawings, design and construction documents, main submittals, sequence of operations, and commissioning scripts. • Support Site Operations by troubleshooting and tuning existing systems to optimize performance. • Review technical drawings, design documents, and commissioning scripts, ensuring compliance with standards and customer requirements. • Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure products delivered to Operations are streamlined and optimized to meet the needs of the business across all functions. • Work closely with Operations to balance cost-effective solutions with long-term operational sustainability. • Engage in continuous professional development through training, participation in professional societies, associations, and continuing education.
