Role Description We’re looking for a Sr Director, Programming Infrastructure & Analytics Enablement on the Biometrics - Programming team to help us expand what’s possible for patients with serious diseases. Reporting to the Head of Programming, you’ll be a senior leader responsible for designing, building, and scaling biometrics programming and analytics infrastructure to support a growing biotech portfolio. This role defines and executes a holistic infrastructure strategy that drives high-quality, efficient Programming deliverables through technology modernization, automation, and AI enablement. The Senior Director partners with Programming leadership and cross-functional teams (Biostatistics, Data Management, IT, Quality, and Clinical functions) to enable effective platforms and tools for data review, analysis, and reporting, while ensuring regulatory compliance and inspection readiness. In this role, you will: - Define and execute the biometrics infrastructure and analytics platform strategy - Lead and develop the Programming Infrastructure & Analytics Enablement team - Lead development of a scalable, multi-language computational environment (SAS, R, Python, etc.) to support statistical analysis, reporting, and data review - Drive automation and standardization, and enable responsible adoption of AI and advanced analytics for data review, analysis, and programming efficiency - Lead the infrastructure team as the primary Biometrics partner to IT, providing domain expertise for analytics platforms, system lifecycle management, and technology initiatives, and serving as the strategic escalation point as needed - Oversee computer system validation (CSV), data integrity, security, and regulatory compliance for biometrics platforms in partnership with IT and Quality, ensuring GxP and inspection readiness - Evaluate, pilot, and scale new tools, technologies, and vendor solutions aligned with business needs Qualifications - Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Biostatistics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field - 12+ years of experience (MS) or 10+ years of experience (PhD) in statistical programming and analytics within pharmaceutical or biotechnology clinical development, including progressive leadership responsibility - Strong experience enabling open-source tools (R, Python, etc.) and with solid working knowledge in SAS - Proven experience leading technology, infrastructure, or analytics transformation in a GxP setting - Solid understanding of CSV, regulatory compliance, and inspection readiness Requirements - Experience enabling AI/ML-driven analytics or automation in clinical development is highly desired - Familiarity with cloud-based analytics platforms is highly desired Benefits - Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage and mental health support - Annual wellbeing reimbursement and access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) - Generous paid time off policies, fertility and family-forming benefits, caregiver support, and flexible work schedules with purposeful in-person collaboration - 401(k) plan with a competitive company match, annual equity awards, and participation in our Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) - Company-paid life and disability insurance - Company Learning Institute providing access to LinkedIn Learning, skill building workshops, leadership programs, mentorship connections, and networking opportunities - Employee resource groups, service and recognition programs, and meaningful opportunities to connect, volunteer, and give back Travel Requirements - This position involves occasional travel up to 15% Pay Range - $222,000.00-303,000.00 Annual Life at Insmed At Insmed, you’ll find a culture as human as our mission—intentionally designed for the people behind it. Job Requirements
- Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Biostatistics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
- 12+ years of experience (MS) or 10+ years of experience (PhD) in statistical programming and analytics within pharmaceutical or biotechnology clinical development, including progressive leadership responsibility
- Strong experience enabling open-source tools (R, Python, etc.) and with solid working knowledge in SAS
- Proven experience leading technology, infrastructure, or analytics transformation in a GxP setting
- Solid understanding of CSV, regulatory compliance, and inspection readiness
