Role Overview: The Brand Protection Coordinator will be responsible for identifying, monitoring, and mitigating instances of online fraud, scams, and intellectual property infringement. In this role, you will manage brand protection tools such as Bustem & other core tools provided by direction of the Sr. Brand Protection Manager in helping monitor platforms to identify fraudulent websites, ads, and marketplace listings. This is a hands-on operations role that involves daily monitoring, coordinating takedowns, solving IP related concerns, and collaborating with internal teams to protect the brand. In being the first line of defense against online abuse, you will help drive team growth and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Monitoring and Detection - Monitor digital channels - including Shopify, social media platforms, paid search ads, and marketplaces - for fraudulent activity, scam sites, and IP infringement - Use BP Platforms (Bustem, etc.) to identify suspicious domains, ads, and listings - Manage the intake and daily review of alerts using established brand protection tools to ensure timely assessment and escalation - Stay informed on emerging fraud patterns, reporting suspicious activity, and share actionable findings with the Senior Brand Protection Manager Enforcement and Takedowns - Execute daily & weekly takedown procedures for scam and fraudulent websites, ads, and listings - Collaborate with legal teams as needed to ensure enforcement aligns with IP and brand protection guidelines, put in place by the Sr. Brand Protection Manger - Coordinate with platform support teams to escalate unresolved or repeat offenders - Track takedown process and ensure followup on fraudulent closure - Process takedowns for harmful content and enforce terms for ambassador code violations - Ensure all daily enforcement actions align with the overarching brand protection strategy Reporting and Communication - Provide regular updates to stakeholders, including senior management, on threats and mitigation progress - Maintain accurate documentation of enforcement activities, processes & prior cases - Provide transactional data and case learnings to the Senior Brand Protection Manager to support monthly and quarterly executive reporting - Create and maintain documentation of processes within Notion & Company Folders, while maintaining a log incidents in Bustem, Asana or where senior management would like stored Collaboration and Advocacy - Work closely with Ecommerce, Social, Community Management, CX and Operations teams to align brand protection efforts with broader business goals - Partner with external agencies and technology providers to optimize monitoring and enforcement capabilities - Collaborate with external partners to ensure product roadmap and growth tactics are in-place for business needs Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field - 1-2 years of experience in brand protection, intellectual property, or Trust & Safety - Understanding of social platforms including Meta, YouTube, Snapchat and TikTok - Strong writing and editing skills with excellent attention to detail Desired Skills & Attributes - Understanding of Trademark infringement and copyright infringement - Moderately strong project management and organizational skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities - A sharp eye for detail and nuances to showcase how our brand is being duplicated - Moderately strong, proactive problem-solving abilities and the initiative to investigate - Team player mentality with excellent communication skills - Understand the nuances involved in daily transactional workflows across scam/fraud sites and translate to marketplaces, social media platforms and Shopify - Well built mentality and able to work amongst & within multiple teams Platform Experience - Shopify Plus - Meta, Tiktok IPPC, Snapchat, YT - Asana, Google Suite, Notion, Growi, Slack - Intellectual Property Search Tools - Brand Verity - Platform Policy Knowledge Plus Comfrt is an equal opportunity employer.
