As a Research Analyst, you’re a curious person who always has a question to ask. Data excites you and you thrive when surrounded by passionate, creative thinkers. In this role, you’ll support market research design and execution to help our clients understand their audiences and make smart, evidence-based decisions. You’ll be a key part of our research and strategy team, bringing together data, insight, and storytelling to uncover what truly matters. While this role focuses on mixed methods research and data analysis, a broad perspective on marketing is necessary as you’ll help elevate research as a valued practice across the agency. You’ll collaborate closely with creatives, strategists, and marketing experts to support internal and external projects, make sense of complex data, and bring it to life in clear, visual, and actionable ways. - Collaborate with strategists to define research hypotheses and translate them into research objectives. - Review existing internal, client-provided and third-party data sources to ground new research in relevant context. - Draft, refine, and program surveys—including incorporating client edits and creative testing needs. - Support research project execution from end-to-end, ensuring deadlines are met on tight timelines. - Support the full survey lifecycle: launch, monitor, close, and coordinate panel providers. - Develop and apply advanced quantitative methods—such as segmentation, regression, or key driver analysis—to uncover deeper insights, identify exceptions, patterns, and key drivers. - Create compelling data visualizations that help clients and teammates grasp the "so what" of the data. - Translate nuanced qualitative and quantitative data from multiple sources into clear, relevant, and actionable insights and recommendations. - Present findings to internal and external audiences in a way that’s clear, confident, and client-friendly. - Explore how AI and emerging technologies can support and streamline research workflows. - Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned, consistent with the objectives and scope of the role. Qualifications - 2+ years of experience in market research, insights, data science, or analytics—ideally in branding, marketing, media, or advertising. - Fluent and comfortable with both qualitative and quantitative methods, with deeper expertise in quantitative analysis. - Skilled in synthesizing data into a clear narrative and making it visual and accessible. - Experience with tools like Qualtrics, Alchemer, SPSS, Tableau, Excel (plus interest in learning new platforms or AI-based tools). - Thrive in a hands-on, dynamic, agile environment. - High attention to detail, organization, prioritization, and follow-through. - Able to work independently on several projects of varying scope at the same time, and adapt to changing situations, demands, priorities, and procedures. - Proactive problem solver with a strong critical thinking/analysis skillset. - Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills, energized by helping others “get” research. Requirements - Experience working in marketing for higher education, health care, non-profits, or other mission-driven fields. - Critical thinker with strong business acumen and intellectual curiosity. Benefits - Comprehensive benefit package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance. - Company-sponsored life and disability insurance; optional life insurance. - Mental health support. - 401(k) profit-sharing plan with a company match. - Paid time off includes flexible personal time, along with paid holidays throughout the year, including a holiday break (typically up to six days) at the end of December. - Ologie is a 100 percent employee-owned company (ESOP).
