Role Description EMCOR Group, Inc. seeks a Cloud Security Analyst that would support EMCOR’s Security Program with a focus on operationalizing and enforcing cloud security posture across a multi-cloud environment, including Azure and AWS. This role provides hands-on operational support for incident response, risk assessments, and identity and access management (IAM) tasks. - Provide expertise during incidents, document findings, and help improve protocols. - Help design, implement, and maintain Microsoft Sentinel and Defender security monitoring, including custom KQL queries and automation. - Participate in risk assessments for cloud platforms and resources. - Collaborate with security and IT teams to ensure alignment with security frameworks and organizational standards. - Maintain and upgrade servers and applications supporting security tools. - Monitor emerging threats and advise stakeholders on responses. - Configure and manage user permissions and roles for cloud platforms and resources. - Monitor cloud platforms for security threats; investigate and respond to security incidents. - Create procedural documentation for cloud security processes. - Remediate findings in cloud security tools. - Automate tasks using scripting languages (PowerShell, Terraform). - Perform special projects as needed. Qualifications - 3+ years of experience working in cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI. - Experience with cloud security tools, such as Defender for Cloud, Defender for Cloud Apps, Sentinel, or equivalent. - Basic understanding of cloud architecture including virtual networks, storage, databases, compute, and identity services within cloud environments. - Basic understanding of data classifications and governance concepts in a cloud environment. - Demonstrated proficiency with PowerShell for administration and automation purposes. - Proven ability to communicate effectively and interact professionally at all organizational levels. - Ability to consistently deliver an exceptional standard of customer service. Job Requirements
