Lead Front End Developer
TurboDebt
TurboDebt is seeking a skilled Lead Frontend Developer with expertise in JavaScript , HTML , and 3rd Party Integrations to help guide our frontend development efforts. As a key leader within the engineering team, you will play a crucial role in simplifying our tech stack, ensuring smooth collaboration with various departments, and establishing proactive monitoring systems to prevent issues before they arise. Key Responsibilities: Lead frontend projects from concept to completion, focusing on finding elegant, simple solutions to complex problems. Work with logging and alerting systems (primarily Sentry ) to ensure we are the first to know when something breaks and resolve issues quickly. Proactively identify blind spots in monitoring and alerting systems and implement solutions to prevent future issues. Collaborate with teams across the organization, including Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service, to ensure their needs are met with high-quality, sometimes pixel-perfect, user-friendly interfaces. Simplify and streamline the existing tech stack, with a focus on maintainability, scalability, and efficiency. Connecting 3rd party frontend integrations such as TrustedForm, IP2Geo, Google Tag Manager, etc. Be responsive during business hours to ensure timely communication with stakeholders and department heads. Required Skills: Strong proficiency in JavaScript , HTML5/CSS3 , and integrating with APIs to create seamless user experiences. Experience with Sentry or similar tools for logging, monitoring, and setting up alerts. Familiarity with React and Next.js , but a focus on leveraging these tools as part of a larger, simplified solution. Proven ability to simplify complex systems and implement robust, scalable solutions. Solid understanding of Git version control. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
