Colonial Energy, Inc. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Colonial Group, Inc. POSITION SUMMARY The Natural Gas Scheduler will be responsible for scheduling natural gas on various interstate pipelines. Midwest region scheduling experience a must. Gulf and East Coast scheduling experience a plus. They will advise and assist the trading team regarding the optimal use of transportation and storage assets. Scheduler will analyze flow data received from utilities/partners and reconcile issues & imbalances related to that data. They will also monitor pipeline Electronic Bulletin Boards for information important to our operations, and communicate with internal and external personnel on key points. Position is 100% remote. JOB EXPECTATIONS/DUTIES - Performs as a liaison between outside parties and internal personnel on gas flow and potential issues - Schedule natural gas on interstate pipeline systems. - Prioritizes and manages multiple assignments with competing deadlines - Makes decisions and transacts in a very time sensitive and deadline driven environment - Monitor and follow up on pipeline Electronic Bulletin Boards for communication purposes QUALIFICATIONS - 2+ years of experience scheduling natural gas on interstate pipeline systems - Excellent interpersonal skills, math skills, and communication skills, both verbal and written - Willingness to provide 24/7 support as part of rotating on call schedule to support internal and external partners Education/Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in experience Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
