VP of Alumni Success Mission: The Vice President of Alumni Success will set the vision and direction for how IDEA Public Schools advances its mission of “College For All,” and realizes its vision of becoming the number one producer of college graduates, period. This Vice President will set the vision and direction for how IDEA leads students “through-college-to-career.” They will lead and manage the work of (1) college persistence & completion, (2) college-to-career, (3) college partnerships, (4) alumni funding, and (5) quality after schools programming. They ensure IDEA students (A) have quality after school programming (B) attain the adequate financial resources necessary to attend, persist and graduate from college (C) build a best-in-class career services center and support, while also cultivating and leveraging partnerships in pursuit of our college completion and career goals. Supervisory Responsibilities: The VP of will manage a team of 8 direct reports, including - Director of College Partnerships - Director of Alumni Funding and Financial Literacy - Managing Director of 21st Century - Managing Director of Alumni Affairs The VP and their team will business partner with regional principals, vice presidents of schools, executive directors, as well as the National Program Team & the National Human Assets Team to achieve short-term results that lead to long-term aspirations, especially our vision at scale. Location: This is a full-time position based in Texas with preference given to candidates who live in Austin, El Paso, Houston, Permian Basin (Midland/Odessa), Rio Grande Valley, San Antonio, and Tarrant County (Fort Worth), or who are willing to relocate. Travel Expectations: - This role works remotely when not traveling and visiting campuses. - Up to 20% of the time during the busiest parts of the year. What You’ll Do – Accountabilities Essential Duties: - Set Strategic Vision: Define and implement the vision and strategic direction for college persistence, graduation rates (4-year and 6-year), and college-to-career placement for all of IDEA’s alumni. - Enhance College Persistence and Completion: Develop and execute strategies to improve graduation rates, aiming for 50% of 2018 graduates to complete in 6 years and 25% of 2020 graduates to complete in 4 years. - Improve Career Outcomes: Ensure that 80% of 2023 graduates secure full-time employment or pursue further education within 6 months of graduation. - Manage College Partnerships: Develop and maintain over 60 existing partnerships with colleges and universities, and secure 10 new partnerships by June 30, 2024. - Oversee Fundraising Efforts: Lead and achieve fundraising goals in support of alumni college matriculation and completion, including raising $1 million by June 30, 2024 through internal campaigns and ensuring 90% staff participation in donations. - Oversee Out-of-School Programming: Manage grant-funded out-of-school programming across 26 campuses, serving 5,430 students for 60+ days. - Lead and Manage Team: Supervise and support a team of 4 direct reports and 18 additional FTEs, fostering a productive team environment and aligning efforts with IDEA's broader goals. Additional Duties and Responsibilities: - Oversee internal loan and scholarship program for IDEA Public Schools - Execute critical national operating mechanisms - Analyze data dashboards, share resources, and communicate progress across the organization - Develop and maintain the business partnerships that will help drive results to achieving goals across multiple national and regional teams - Manage a $1MM operating budget for the College Access, Persistence, and Completion Team - Additional Duties as assigned. Job Description About The Position The Vice President, KEDA, will serve as the program lead responsible for founding KIPP’s first-ever Executive Director leadership program. The KIPP Executive Director Accelerator (KEDA) is scheduled to launch in School Year 2026–2027. This leader will design, build, and continuously refine three core programmatic components — ED identification and selection, the ED Fellowship, and the New ED Program — ensuring they function as a cohesive, high-impact leadership development pipeline. This role is fundamentally focused on building and executing a best-in-class leadership program that produces a robust and sustainable pipeline of ED-ready candidates prepared to lead one of KIPP’s 28 regions nationwide. The Vice President of KEDA will translate KEDA’s vision into concrete programming, curriculum, learning experiences, and operational structures. They will build and manage the fellowship model; design learning experiences aligned to KIPP’s leadership expectations; coordinate selection processes; cultivate facilitators, coaches, and partners; and establish the systems and rhythms necessary to run KEDA effectively at launch and beyond. The salary range for this position is $197,000-$236,500. • Define and execute the multi-year strategic plan for the global Professional Services organization • Work with Product Marketing and Engineering to develop a portfolio of high-value, scalable services • Collaborate closely with leadership across Sales, Partner Ecosystem, Customer Success, and Product Management • Own and manage the global Professional Services financial goals • Oversee all professional services engagements, establishing robust global project governance • Establish, monitor, and drive continuous improvement based on key performance indicators • Strategically leverage, enable, manage, and scale a global network of Professional Services partners and subcontractors • Recruit, onboard, and retain a world-class team of Professional Services Directors, Consultants, Architects, and Engagement Managers • Provide executive leadership, mentorship, and career development to the team
