Role Description The Chief, Regional Impact is a new and critical role at the KIPP Foundation — one that sits at the heart of how we deliver excellence for students across every KIPP region, every day. This is a rare opportunity to shape the trajectory of an entire network of schools by ensuring the leaders closest to students and communities are operating at the highest level. The Chief of Regional Impact reports to the Chief Schools Officer and is responsible for executing the One KIPP strategy across the network. The role has three mission-critical functions: - Managing Regional Superintendents, who lead coordinated teams that deliver educational services to KIPP regions. - Partnering with Regional Superintendents to support and hold regional Executive Directors accountable for delivering best-in-class academic and postsecondary outcomes. - Overseeing the national ED pipeline program to ensure a ready bench of leaders prepared to step into regional ED roles as openings arise. At its core, this is an outcomes-accountable leadership role. The Chief of Regional Impact co-owns the academic and postsecondary performance of KIPP's regions and is responsible for delivering measurable results across the network. The CRI manages a team of four Regional Superintendents and drives results through them — setting a high bar, holding the line on performance, and ensuring the systems, supports, and consequences are in place for every region to deliver. The CRI also coaches and develops Regional Superintendents into stronger and more effective leaders. This person must be a clear thinker, a decisive operator, and a credible presence with senior internal and external stakeholders, including regional boards. The Chief of Regional Impact reports directly to the Chief Schools Officer and works in close, ongoing partnership with the CSO to deeply understand and operationalize the vision of regional excellence across the network. This is a high-trust relationship — the Chief of Regional Impact must be able to take that vision and translate it faithfully into systems, expectations, and leadership development without needing to be managed at every step. Success in this role means the CSO's vision is alive and well in every region, every day. Responsibilities - Regional Accountability and Support: - Hold all KIPP regions accountable for achieving their goals on all anchor measures through the management of Regional Superintendents. - Design and implement the system to monitor results across anchor measures for all KIPP regions. - Envision and establish the strategy for KIPP Foundation support to regions. - Identify cross-regional patterns and partner with content/program owners to scale effective practices. - Executive Leadership & Leader Accountability: - Define the role of Executive Directors in driving strong academic outcomes. - Lead Regional Superintendents to enact accountability and support for EDs. - Oversee Executive Director performance management and provide biannual updates to regional board chairs. - Recommend talent decisions across the portfolio. - Pod Leadership & Performance Management: - Create a consistent model across all Regional Superintendents to hold EDs accountable. - Manage and develop a team of four Regional Superintendents. - Coach Regional Superintendents to effectiveness in their roles. - CEO Pipeline and Performance Management: - Manage the development and execution of an ED pipeline program. - Oversee ED performance management including recommendations about ED retention. - Partner with talent and program leaders to define competencies for future EDs. - Governance & Enterprise Influence: - Manage Regional Superintendents to effectively partner with Chiefs and regional boards. - Oversee KIPP Network Growth strategy development and execution. - Serve as the primary point of escalation for all regions on non-academic matters. Job Description Here’s what you need to know: The Associate Director of Information Services and State Reporting will lead KIPP Miami and its future Florida regions with its data reporting requirements to ensure it secures funding. They will work virtually across all teams from enrollment, school and regional operations, data, and academics to ensure that we are accurately collecting and reporting data to the local district, state and federal government. This data drives our access to funding and ensures we stay in good standing with various laws. They will ensure that we are “audit-ready” at any time and maintain accurate information in anticipation of state Full Time Enrollment (FTE) counts by training others, managing reporting, and ensuring the campus-based registrar has the systems and resources to keep our schools' reporting accurate and on time. Here's what you'll do: State FTE Reporting - Project manage all aspects of FTE submissions to the State of Florida. Manage DOE survey submissions, ensuring accurate and timely transmissions by reviewing and correcting errors, validating, and handling exception reports. - Validate FTE information with school and district-level administrators. - Train schools to facilitate the collection of student and staff information in Focus, our School Information System (SIS). - Oversee data preparation and system accuracy for FEFP audits, collaborate with schools and departments during audit reviews, and implement corrective actions and process improvements to prevent future audit findings. - Liaison and coordinate with FLDOE and consortium for all submissions and data templates. - Coordinate with different internal teams to ensure timely submissions: - Ensure that the school follows all state and federal data collection/ reporting requirements. - Coordinate with the Teaching and Learning team to annually update the Academic Program Guide to ensure course coding and scheduling guidelines are in alignment with state law. - Coordinate with the Director of Student Experiences (DSE) on all culture-related data. - Coordinate with Exceptional Student Education (ESE) for all ESE data points related to FTE submissions - Assist in the development of the curriculum bulletin, prepare subject selection cards, and aid in the production of the Master Schedule. - Drive regional enrollment processes in Focus, including roll-over timelines, audit timelines, and data submission deadlines. - Respond to inquiries regarding registration, foreign student registrations, student records, FTE accounting and reporting, and master schedule compliance. - Audit student registration processes at schools, including student record keeping and scheduling. - Audit FTE submissions for errors and run simulation reports. - Verify student enrollment for various local or state agencies, as required. - Serve as custodian of student records; review the retention of student records and ensure compliance with State and district regulations pertaining to the same. - Run audit reports on student records in compliance with graduation requirements. - Review data submissions for additional high school funding streams, including CTE, DE, and other weighted funding categories. - Coordinate with school staff and human resources to ensure the accuracy of ACES and staff onboarding processes and data submissions. - Maintain all backup documentation related to FTE reporting. Internal Regional Compliance - Work with school operations leadership to ensure compliance communication is turnkeyed and action steps are completed at the schools. - Support updates to the Code of Conduct, Family Handbook, Student Services Guide, and Academic Program Guide to align with any legislative changes. - Coordinate with school staff for enforcement and accountability of attendance protocols. - Ensure the enforcement and accountability of truancy reports and reporting to the state. - Ensure the enforcement and accountability of student culture and discipline protocols and documentation at schools. Student Information System (SIS) Management - Attend all FLDOE, consortium, and Focus training and turnkey necessary updates and training. - Deliver data-entry training for school staff. - Coordinate and support KIPP internal teams, including the Data Team, Director of ESE, Teaching and Learning, and Student Experiences, to ensure compliance with Focus and internal reporting needs for schools. - Provide technical assistance and issue resolution for SIS users on “Tier 1” data compliance support to schools. - Confirm the accuracy of data fields on submissions for federal and state grants. - Confirm data in the ongoing FLDOE reports of school. Salary ranges at KIPP are set based upon the role level and function using benchmarks in the education and non-profit sector and allow for growth within the role. Individual compensation will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to: relevant professional experience and qualifications; education, skills and training; and market conditions. Job Description About The Position The Vice President, KEDA, will serve as the program lead responsible for founding KIPP’s first-ever Executive Director leadership program. The KIPP Executive Director Accelerator (KEDA) is scheduled to launch in School Year 2026–2027. This leader will design, build, and continuously refine three core programmatic components — ED identification and selection, the ED Fellowship, and the New ED Program — ensuring they function as a cohesive, high-impact leadership development pipeline. This role is fundamentally focused on building and executing a best-in-class leadership program that produces a robust and sustainable pipeline of ED-ready candidates prepared to lead one of KIPP’s 28 regions nationwide. The Vice President of KEDA will translate KEDA’s vision into concrete programming, curriculum, learning experiences, and operational structures. They will build and manage the fellowship model; design learning experiences aligned to KIPP’s leadership expectations; coordinate selection processes; cultivate facilitators, coaches, and partners; and establish the systems and rhythms necessary to run KEDA effectively at launch and beyond. As KIPP works toward its 2030 goals, KEDA is focused on preparing a specific kind of leader: an Executive Director who leads with conviction, centers students and community in every decision, and has the vision, drive, and cultural competency to deliver breakthrough outcomes across regional leadership. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, and relevant experience. The salary range for this position is $197,000-$236,500.
