Credit Bureau Reporting and Corrections Support Specialist

The Credit Bureau Reporting and Corrections Support Specialist is responsible for providing general support to the Loan Administration Support Department’s Credit Dispute Team to ensure proper tracking and organization of customer credit reporting complaints and issues. Perform all duties in accordance with all company guidelines and applicable federal, state and local regulations, wherein the company operates. The target compensation range for this position is $22.00 to $24.00 per hour. What you'll do: - Responsible for obtaining, redacting, and saving all documentation submitted to or from E-Oscar in the course of an electronic dispute investigation. - Provide daily reporting from E-Oscar for creation of Automated Credit Dispute Verification (“ACDV”) tasks. - Maintain and oversee the monthly loan liquidation report handled by the credit team to ensure accuracy and final credit reporting to the credit bureaus. - Create tasks for processing by credit team, and completion of the document retention for all processed credit corrections - Preforms general administrative tasks along with Personal Verification Searches for the Credit Team. - Monitor department email in-box and route internal credit requests to the appropriate party for correction - Adhere to established department and company policies and procedures - Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office suite of applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, etc.) - Knowledge of relevant industry-specific software packages preferred - Strong time management and organizational skills - Ability to interact with all levels of staff including senior management - Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information - Ability to understand, remember, and communicate routine, factual information - Ability to understand complex problems and to collaborate and explore alternative solutions - Ability to apply common sense in performing job - Ability to organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology - Ability to organize and prioritize own work schedule on a daily basis - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and to record, balance, and check results for accuracy - Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines. - High school diploma or GED required. College education preferred but not required. - Minimum of two (2) years related mortgage banking, and/or financial industry experience required. The AoPS Academy Virtual Campus is an after-school and weekend enrichment option for students. Our Year-Round courses are offered late afternoons to evenings between 4pm ET and 10pm ET Monday through Friday and from 10am ET to 9pm ET on Sunday. Summer camps are held Mon-Fri between June and August and run for 1, 2, or 4 weeks for 1.5 or 3 hours per day.
