• You’ll work closely with an experienced Sales Manager, taking ownership of a well-established Sample Management product portfolio while helping to drive its continued growth. • Knowing how to present the company, its history, its culture, its strategy, and all associated skills. • Leveraging our customer database to drive a focused East Coast US strategy, with clear, measurable objectives and execution plans. • Organizing work time according to the priorities defined to achieve own goals and those defined by the company. • Respecting and knowing how to implement the priorities of the company (products/strategy) and those markets covered. • Ensuring the development and follow-up of all opportunities by being able to build a balance between different product lines to sell and to manage an efficient sales collaboration with product specialists. • Building a consultative relationship and becoming a trusted advisor with our customers by a structured commercial approach based above all on the accumulation of information to propose the most adequate solution for their business. • Knowing how to position SPT solutions in relation to end-user’s workflows and explaining above all the benefits of the proposed solutions by using all the available communication tools (website, brochure, slide deck, application notes, videos,). • Having a perfect command of the products and services programs and knowing how to propose a global solution by cross selling our product range. • Ensuring that application knowledge is maintained at an optimal level by relying on the support functions (training, binomial tour, e-learning). • Being responsible for CRM data and management.
Job Requirements
- Ideally, 3+ years of experience in a capital sales specialist role is required. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in selling automated Sample Management/Lab automation technologies in the Eastern portion of the United States market.
- An undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification in a Life Science discipline is mandatory, given the background required for the role.
- Ability to travel up to 50% across the Eastern portion of the United States.
- Familiarity with using CRM as a central sales tool.
- Established network across the Eastern portion of the United States.
- Proven success and ability to develop business.
- Ability to conduct presentations or complex demonstrations in front of varying audiences.
- Autonomy, team spirit, and remote work capabilities.
