• Identify and develop new business opportunities • Build and maintain relationships with clients • Create and implement sales strategies • Meet and exceed sales targets • Conduct market research and analysis • Manage and grow existing client accounts • Provide excellent customer service and support • Upsell and cross sell products and services • Address and resolve any client concerns or issues • Maintain accurate records and reports of client interactions and sales activities • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and product knowledge • Promote and educate clients on new products and services • Assist in the development of marketing materials and campaigns • Participate in trade shows and events to promote company and products • Provide feedback and insights for product development • Prepare and submit sales reports and forecasts • Manage and maintain CRM database • Coordinate and schedule sales meetings and presentations • Handle invoicing and payment processing • Monitor and track sales expenses and budgets
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of technical sales experience, preferably within water treatment, aquatics, disinfection systems, pumps, or related industrial technologies.
- Demonstrated success managing complex sales cycles and closing high‑value projects.
- Strong understanding of disinfection technologies (UV, ozone, chemical, or similar) and their application in aquatics or commercial pool environments.
- Proven ability to deliver compelling sales presentations to engineers, facility operators, consultants, and channel partners.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
- Ability to develop and execute territory or market‑specific sales strategies.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region.
