Role Description The Service Engineer is a key role within our commercial and business development team. We are seeking a professional with proven technical experience in the installation, programming, and servicing of automated machinery, ideally within the industrial baking or food sector. This position will serve as a primary point of contact with our clients, strengthening relationships while working closely with the sales team to develop new business opportunities in services, spare parts, machinery, and raw materials. We are looking for a dynamic individual with a strong willingness to learn our business and the flexibility to travel both within and outside of Mexico for more than 70% of the time. This is a remote position, and the candidate can be located anywhere within Mexico. The Service Engineer role will focus on the installation, technical optimization, and troubleshooting of our equipment and products at customer sites. The position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring assigned installation and service projects. Additionally, the role will focus on generating commercial insights based on field observations, training customers, developing customized solutions to meet client needs, and promoting our portfolio of release agents as well as other products and services. The candidate is also expected to quickly develop strong expertise in release agent products and their applications in order to provide comprehensive solutions to our clients. Qualifications - Completed degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering, or a related field. - Consideration for candidates without a university degree who have proven experience in similar roles, maintenance, or production within the baking or food industry. Requirements - A minimum of 3 years of experience in field engineering, project management, field operations, or equipment integration. - Based in Mexico. - Full-time position; must be open to traveling on weekends when required. - Ideally experience in the baking/food industry (not mandatory). - Hands-on experience in mechanical and/or electrical engineering. - Ability to diagnose electrical and automation issues in equipment, and to determine and implement solutions. - Experience reading electrical diagrams and CAD drawings. - Strong troubleshooting skills in power transmission components, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, and electrical circuits. - Basic mechanical workshop and fabrication skills. - Experience using tools and performing electrical wiring in the field. - Experience with Rockwell Automation product lines. - Physical requirements include lifting up to 27 kg and the ability to stand for more than 8 hours. - Proficiency in MS Office, with comfort in data tracking, document preparation, and reporting. - Availability to travel domestically and internationally as required (>50% of the time). - Strong verbal communication skills and ability to write technical reports or documents. - Strong interpersonal and customer-facing skills. - English proficiency sufficient to read manuals and technical documents, and to maintain effective communication with our technical team in the United States. Position Summary We’re looking for a seasoned Network Architect to take ownership of how our networks are designed and scaled across our corporate offices, manufacturing sites, and the cloud. This person sets the standards for LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, and Azure networking, making sure connectivity is secure, reliable, and consistent. This role partners closely with infrastructure, security, and our site/plant teams to keep production environments running, and ensures that hybrid connectivity to Azure (VNets, ExpressRoute, VPN) support day-to-day operations while reducing risk. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Enterprise Network Architecture & Strategy: - Define and maintain the enterprise network architecture roadmap across LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, and cloud connectivity, ensuring alignment with business and operational objectives. - Establish and govern standards for network design, segmentation, performance, redundancy, and scalability across on-premises and cloud environments. - Lead enterprise network modernization initiatives, including upgrades, consolidation, and adoption of next-generation networking solutions. Manufacturing & Operational Technology Support: - Design secure, resilient network connectivity models for manufacturing plants and operational technology (OT) environments. - Partner with plant engineering teams to ensure reliable, production-grade network support for manufacturing operations. - Implement segmentation and Zero Trust principles between IT and OT networks. Cloud & Hybrid Networking: - Architect and govern secure network integration with cloud platforms, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Azure Virtual Network (VNet) architectures. - Design and support hybrid connectivity models including ExpressRoute and site-to-site VPN, ensuring secure and performant connectivity between on-premises environments and Azure. - Enable cloud-based services supporting ERP systems, data platforms, and global collaboration tools through well-designed Azure networking foundations.
