The Position We are looking for a self motivated Sales Manager to join our growing HQ team and support our major accounts. Our ideal candidate will have a proven success record in wholesale account management,strong industry relationships, and the ability to navigate a dynamic wholesale environment while partnering cross-functionally. The Sales Manager will report directly to the VP of Wholesale. Strategic Planning & Account Management: - Execute commercial and financial strategies for JB across our major partners - Manage revenue, profitability, and growth strategy by account - Monitor business metrics: weekly reporting, budgets and margin and profitability - Support our VP of Wholesale with account forecasting, pre-season planning, and seasonal sales strategy with a forward-thinking approach - Identify and communicate key areas of opportunity and account needs for product and SMU development with cross functional teams - Lead buyer meeting and collection previews - Negotiate account terms and discounts - Act as a brand ambassador to Jenny Bird - Work closely with operations to strategize and prioritize shipments Qualifications: - Minimum 6-8 years of fashion or accessories wholesale experience with majors - Proficiency in Excel, Googlesheets and Microsoft applications - Strong understanding of retail math and cost accounting; OTB management experience - Ability to meet deadlines and deliverables internally and externally - Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with buyers and retail partners - Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts in a fast-paced environment - Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels - Attention to detail, accuracy, and strong follow-through - Ability to travel up to 25% Position Details: - This is a Remote position from New York or New Jersey - Salary Range: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $115-135K. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location.
