Role Description The Insights and Strategy team is seeking a data analyst for maternity coverage from May - October 2026 to support Insights and Strategy team members to uncover deep insights that inform client strategy and create reports to understand campaign performance by various data cuts such as audience, channel, reach/frequency, etc. This position requires a curious individual who likes digging into data sets to find answers to open-ended questions, identifying additional data resources and collaborating with teams across the organization. This individual will help scale and grow our team, proving data and analyses that ensure CMX is viewed as a strategic partner to our clients. Requires independent analysis, proactive communication and strong technical skills. - Engage with key stakeholders to understand their data needs and requirements. - Identify and extract data from various sources and aggregate into a cohesive report. - Create, refine, and optimize routine reports for Insights and Strategy team. - Proactively seek any needed context and clarification regarding the data request. - Analyze data and identify trends to inform client marketing strategy – inclusive of audience, media engagement, creative performance and more. - Translate data into actionable insights, providing simple and appealing visualizations to clearly communicate the data story to non-specialists. - Contribute to internal brainstorming sessions and collaborate with sales, account management and strategy team members throughout client consultation. - Proactively seek and develop knowledge of the retail, CPG and healthcare industry. - Ability to identify potential challenges and suggest actions to mitigate them. - Is accountable for adhering to timelines, meeting quality standards and takes ownership of projects. - Adapts well to change and ever-evolving solutions. - Adhere to all regulatory, company and department data policies. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in relevant fields or equivalent work experience. - 1 - 3 years experience in SQL with Big Query or similar platforms. - 1 - 3 years experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar platforms. - 1 - 3 years experience in conducting data analysis. - Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and across functions. Requirements - Knowledge of statistical modeling techniques, segmentation, research, lifetime value, ROAS are a plus. - Understanding and experience working with digital media tech stack DMPs/DSPs/SSPs/Google Cloud Platform/Adobe Marketing Cloud. - Extensive experience with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint). - Experience with Circana Unify platform.
