Business Development Manager – Chemical Industry

• Identifying and driving growth opportunities within the chemical industry by collaborating with area and regional sales teams to acquire new customers, develop projects, and execute revenue-generating initiatives aligned with the business's strategic plan. • Improving sales effectiveness in the chemical industry through the identification of industry trends, key applications, and target customers, sharing knowledge and success stories, and enhancing communications across project and account teams. • Delivering training materials as well as driving participation in training aimed at building industry expertise and the use of sales tools specific to the targeted market segments or product areas. • Representing the organization at key industry forums and tradeshow events. • Leading and enabling sales campaigns, working closely with marketing and product teams to deliver compelling value propositions and ensuring effective execution across sales teams.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience; four (4) of which must be in sales or marketing
  • Chemical industry experience or experience selling into the chemical industry required
  • Strong technical knowledge of process control and instrumentation solutions
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within the territory including minimal overnight stays
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
