Role Description We are looking for a highly experienced Lead AI Engineer with expert-level proficiency in Python and machine learning to guide our AI initiatives and mentor a talented engineering team. As a technical leader, you will architect and oversee the development of innovative AI solutions, ensuring best practices and high standards across all projects. - Architect, design, and lead the development of advanced machine learning models and AI systems using Python. - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of AI/ML engineers and data scientists. - Oversee end-to-end project lifecycles: from data collection and preprocessing, through model development, to deployment and monitoring. - Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to define AI strategy and translate business objectives into technical solutions. - Establish and enforce best practices for coding, model validation, versioning, and reproducibility. - Review code, provide constructive feedback, and ensure high-quality deliverables. - Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in AI/ML, and drive the adoption of new technologies and methodologies. - Present technical concepts and project progress to both technical and non-technical audiences. Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership or lead role. - Expert-level Python programming skills and deep familiarity with ML libraries (NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, LangChain, PyTorch, etc.). - Demonstrated experience architecting and deploying production-grade machine learning systems. - Strong understanding of data engineering, feature engineering, and big data tools. - Experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and MLOps practices. - Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills. - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
